Nintendo began distribution the new, major update for Splatoon 2 last night. Version 2.0.0 added a ton of content, including stages, gear, and so much more.

One unintended side effect of the update relates to the Great Zapfish. Strangely, after applying the patch, it is removed entirely. Nintendo did at least say on the Japanese Twitter page for Splatoon 2 that this will be addressed with a future update.

Players can see the Great Zapfish after finishing Splatoon 2’s Hero Mode. You can spot it flying in the Inkopolis Square, though it’s not entirely clear what prompts the appearance.

Nintendo has a new video up showcasing some of its most popular Switch games this year. Super Mario Odyssey, Splatoon 2, ARMS, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and Zelda: Breath of the Wild are featured. Watch the video below.

Jason Michael Paul has been producing The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses concert for the past several years. It’s the only major concert has done, but it’s not for a lack of interest.

Earlier in the year, Paul said he wanted to make a Nintendo All Star concert. In a new interview with GamesIndustry, he also stated that ht’s created a proposal for a Super Mario symphony that he hopes will stick. Unfortunately, Paul noted that his idea for a Super Smash Symphony won’t happen since it’s “too complicated.”

Over in Europe, Let’s Sing 2018 is available today for Switch and… Wii. Koch Media decided to prepare the game for Nintendo’s new console, but also the much older system. No Wii U version in sight. Get a look at a launch trailer for Let’s Sing 2018 below.

Digital Foundry has taken an extensive look at the Switch version of L.A. Noire. The game is analyzed from a technical perspective on Nintendo’s console, is compared to other systems, given the frame rate test, and more. The initial verdict is that there are improvements from the last-gen version, but also some drawbacks.

Google Play has provided the first official data for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp following its worldwide launch this week. The game’s listing says that downloads sit somewhere between 5 and 10 million on Android. Of course, that number is only expected to increase in the days and weeks ahead.

Apple hasn’t offered any information regarding the number of downloads for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp on iOS. However, it would be very surprising if it hasn’t matched or surpassed its Android equivalent.

Nintendo has posted the results of the first ARMS Party Crash held this week. Spring Man won, having secured 62% of plays. Ribbon Girl had 38%.

Party Crash is a special form of Party Match that runs for a limited time. Players need to adapt to new rules in order to rack up points and raise their Lab Level. A bonus period also appears at certain times to give you a chance to increase your point earnings. Every Party Crash is also based around different fighters, so you can earn more points by using one of them.
