ARMS’ next big update is here. Nintendo just issued version 5.0.0 for all players worldwide.
Today’s update is naturally highlighted by the new fighter Dr. Coyle. Nintendo has also added in a new stage, ARMS, badges, and more. Some balance adjustments have been implemented as well.

Disc Jam is coming to Switch, a new listing in the system’s news channels reveals. It currently lacks information, but confirms that the game is on the way.
Disc Jam originally debuted earlier this year. The game is described as a “fast-paced action-sports game that pits 2-4 players against each other in a frantic combination of air hockey and tennis.”

ARMS will be undergoing a bit of maintenance later tonight. Nintendo will be paving the way for version 5.0.0 during the downtime.

The latest update for Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap has arrived. Those who own the game can nab version 1.0.3e.

Flying Tiger Entertainment has announced plans to bring Data East arcade classics to Switch under a new “Johnny Turbo’s Arcade” line. The company intends to release “over 20 titles”. Releases will begin to appear this winter.
For now at least, Flying Tiger Entertainment is keeping the specifics titles under wraps. The company also hasn’t clarified if games will be sold individually or in groups.
The Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night Kickstarter posted its latest news update today. Fans are treated to some brand new content not previously shown.

The Game Bakers announced Furi for Switch a few weeks ago. According to a listing on the European eShop, the title will be launching on January 11. This is backed up by a similar listing on Nintendo’s North American website.
Furi is a “fast-paced sword fighting and dual-stick shooting game” that has earned a great amount of praise. The Switch version will include all content and improvements released so far.
