Ever since Gamescom, we’ve heard about Final Fantasy XV potentially coming to Switch in some fashion. Director Hajime Tabata has now commented on the situation once again in an interview with Eurogamer.

Some have thought that Square Enix would look to bring the recently-announced Pocket Edition of Final Fantasy XV to Switch. However, the company has been instead trying to determine if the original game can be put on Nintendo’s console.

Tabata said:

The way in which NES Golf on Switch can be unlocked came to light yesterday. Even so, it almost seemed too crazy to be true. Additional videos and images have surfaced over the past several hours, and with all of the evidence out there, it’s looking more and more like the discovery is real.

One such video is below. You’ll notice that it even includes audio from late Nintendo president Satoru Iwata saying “chokusetsu” (“direct”). With the unlock date being July 11 – the date of his passing – it seems like whoever came up with this went all out in honoring him.

Apple released iOS 11 this week, but it’s causing a couple of issues for Miitomo users. Nintendo sent out a status update about the situation in a news post within the app today.

Currently, these are the two main problems:

– An error occurs that prevents the sharing of answers or QR Codes via Facebook
– An error occurs that prevents the sharing of answers, Miifotos, or QR Codes via Twitter

Nintendo is examining both of these issues (as well as an issue pertaining to smart devices with Twitter app version 7.7), and is already preparing a fix. An announcement will be sent out when a fix is ready.

When the New 3DS was announced, Nintendo had some commercials in Japan featuring Japanese singer Kyary Pamyu Pamyu to show off the new product.

Well it seems the outfit that Mario wore in one of advertisements for the New 3DS has found its way in Super Mario Odyssey as an outfit that Mario can wear. The outfit now known as the “Fashionable Outfit” was shown in one of the gameplay footage video we posted up earlier, which you can check out here.
