It won’t be much longer until Plantera DX hits the Switch eShop – at least in Japan. A listing added to the store today confirms a release date of June 8. The game will cost 500 yen.
We have these screenshots from the listing:
We reviewed Plantera
when it came to Wii U and 3DS earlier in the year. The Switch version features new content including additional animals and characters, improved visuals and new music. The Switch durability tests aren’t finished just yet. UnlockRiver shared a new one today, which has the system being dropped from a ridiculous 1,000 feet.
Believe it or not, the Switch unit did survive. One of the Joy-Con controllers broke off, but it’s easily replaceable. The unit as a whole still worked amazingly enough.

Just like in previous years, Twitch will be live streaming several days of Twitch coverage. The specific time slots are still being filled in, but we have an overall idea of the schedule.
Of course, you’ll be able to watch the Nintendo Spotlight video presentation on June 13. Additionally, Nintendo will be stopping by later that day as well as on June 15 to showcase upcoming titles on Twitch’s stage show.
Twitch is also teasing exclusive news from Nicalis on June 11. It’s not clear if the reveal will be Nintendo-related, but we do know that the company has been giving Switch a lot of love as of late.
In any case, Twitch’s live stream schedule for E3 2017 is as follows:
Steve Butler, an employee from Archie Comics, has posted some concept art of a Metroid comic series that he had made for Archie Comics almost six years ago. A recent article from Serkan Toto has just reported that the Pokemon Company has disclosed their financials from over the past five years. During this past year. their sales profit has gone up by 26 times then the previous fiscal year.
Here is The Pokemon Company’s net profit for the last five years (all past fiscals ended on the last day of February):
- 15th fiscal (for the year that ended on February 28, 2013): US$16.6 million
- 16th fiscal: US$10.6 million
- 17th fiscal: US$18.4 million
- 18th fiscal: US$5.6 million
- 19th fiscal: US$143.3 million
It is most likely that the jump in sales have to do with the releases of Pokemon GO and Pokemon Sun & Moon from last year. Overall, it is amazing how big their profit blew up from last year compared to the year before that.
