Starting today, Cassette Beasts players can access a brand new “Catacombs” update, which is marked as version 1.2.0.

Call of Duty has thus far not made it to Switch, but looking back on things, Activision seems to regret things a bit.

In a court battle taking place this week between the FTC and Microsoft, Activision CEO Bobby Kotick actually ended up commenting on Nintendo’s console. Speaking about the lack of support for Call of Duty on the console, he said: “I made a bad judgment.” Kotick had initially believed Nintendo was trying to do too much with the Switch and that it wouldn’t be a success. However, he has now acknowledged: “It’s probably the second biggest video game system of all time.”

PID Games, along with Domesticated Ant Games, have revealed a final release date for Gravity Circuit. On Switch, it’s slated for July 13, 2023.

Gravity Circuit was originally announced for Switch last December. Only a 2023 release window was given at the time.

Super Smash Bros. has brought in characters from all sorts of legendary franchises – including fighting games like Street Fighter, Tekken, and Fatal Fury  – but Mortal Kombat has been left out of the mix. However, that’s not due to a lack of interest from its developers.

Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon, speaking with Axios, recently mentioned that Nintendo hasn’t asked for a Mortal Kombat character to appear in Smash Bros. But if Boon had his way, Scorpion would be his top choice to join the roster. If Nintendo asked for two characters, Sub-Zero would be next. Boon said “it’s cool to see a spear pull somebody,” which is why he’d go with Scorpion above anyone else.
