PokemonGoChamp has recently published an unofficial spawn rate chart for Pokemon Go.

The chart, which was made from the large amount of data collected by PokeRader, lists the spawn rates for every Pokemon that can be caught within Pokemon Go.  The listed percentages are calculated on a rolling 1 week period across approximately 100 million historical data points to help ensure the highest level of accuracy.

PokemonGoChamp claims that, after doing some research, it can confirm that the data set is “highly accurate”. The chart also includes the most common time a specific Pokemon will appear at.

You can view the chart here.

In a recent Nintendo Life interview with Joe Zieja, the voice of Fox McCloud in Star Fox Zero – The Battle Begins, we got to hear what it’s like working with Nintendo as a voice actor.

On what it was like auditioning for the part, and the realization that he would be voicing none other than Fox McCloud himself, Zieja said:

I auditioned for a code-named project and had absolutely no idea what it was. I didn’t even know it was anything big. The specs just described what they were looking for and asked that only talent in the LA area audition, so I did. I didn’t hear about it for weeks (and I do so many auditions a day that my mental health demands I fire-and-forget). Then one Saturday I get an NDA from Nintendo, and I think “oh, cool. I probably got Shopkeeper #5 in something or other.” Then the next email came with Fox’s picture on it and I lost my mind.

Another Wii U eShop game has received a release date in Europe. 140 from Limbo lead designer Jeppe Carlsen is slated for September 8. It will carry a €7.99 price point.

We have the following overview:

“Created by Jeppe Carlsen (Lead puzzle designer, LIMBO) with Music by Jakob Schmid, 140 is a challenging minimalistic platformer with abstract colorful graphics. The game requires rhythmic awareness to overcome obstacles which are controlled by an energetic, yet melancholic electronic soundtrack!

Originally released for PC and Mac OS in 2013 after winning the Excellence in Audio award at the Independent Games Festival, 140 is now being adapted for consoles and handhelds by Abstraction Games in partnership with Double Fine Presents. It’s headed to PS4, PS Vita, Wii U, 3DS and Xbox One this summer!”

NERD, otherwise known as Nintendo European Research & Development, is behind the emulation of the Nintendo Entertainment System: NES Classic Edition. The team previously worked on the DS Virtual Console for Wii U. NERD also made the “super-stable 3D” feature of the New 3DS, Wii download functionality on Wii U, and Wii U’s Internet browser video player.

The only question remains: are any other teams aside from NERD handling the NES Classic Edition? That’s unclear, but given NERD’s technical work, it seems that the new device is in good hands.
