Super Mario Maker has added in another new costume. After completing the latest Event Course, players can unlock an outfit based on Toadette.
Here’s an overview of the level, titled “Toadette: Treasure Tracker”:
“Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is back with another special course, and this time it’s the Captain’s treasure-hunting partner Toadette who’s taking center stage! Do you have what it takes to doge giant skewers, collect the pink coins, and make it to the bounty of golden treasure at the end of the course?”

Super Mario Maker received an update last week, which added new elements like the Skewer and keys. The game has now received another patch today as well.
Version 1.41 can now be downloaded for Super Mario Maker. The lone note pertaining to this update is as follows: “Adjustments have been made to make for a more pleasant gaming experience.”
To download today’s update, you’ll need 362MB of free space.
During GDC 2016 today, Capcom localization director Andrew Alfonso delivered a talk on adapting games for worldwide audiences. A portion of his presentation was about bringing Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate west. He spoke about the ways in which he and the team approached the English version – including staying away from memes.
He said:
“I started thinking that I don’t want people picking up my games on release saying, ‘I like these in-style meme references,’ and then another player picking up the games four years later and thinking, ‘They referenced 300 — that sucks!'”
Update: This is out now – see the image below.
Most of the time, demos come out before a game launches. But in the case of Pokken Tournament, we could be seeing a trial after release.
A listing for Pokken Tournament on the European Wii U eShop notes that there will be a demo for the game. It doesn’t say when we can expect it, however. If we hear anything else on this front, we’ll let you know.

Members of the media recently went hands-on with Miitomo, which also included some interview opportunities. TIME is one outlet that has an interview up with Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime. During the discussion, Reggie commented on why Miitomo doesn’t have real-time messaging, “long-term” plans for the app, mobile goals, and more.
Head past the break for some of Reggie’s remarks. You can read the full interview on TIME here.
