Super Smash Bros. for Wii U is a game that lacks guidance when you start it up; it’s a mish mash of menu options, and they don’t tell you which icon to try first. But where Smash Bros. uses a lack of direction to overwhelm– like Charlie entering Wonka’s entirely edible room– Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash feels a lot less excited about its own content. Even the game can’t be bothered to show you around.

“Well, here’s all this stuff I guess.”

What should I do first?

“Uhhhh…”

The Game Awards made its debut last year. Although its reception was generally positive, there were certainly things that could have been improved upon. In the video below, show producer Geoff Keighley discusses what sort of changes are in the pipeline for this year’s event.

A few days ago, the Japanese Hyrule Warriors Legends Twitter account teased more news for the game. Famitsu has come through with a four-page report on the title.

First, a note about stages. With the introduction of the new Wind Waker episode, the stages themselves will have a slight change in atmosphere that players can look forward to. As an example, Lake Hylia has an evening scene added. Valley of Seers also has a blue sky again due to being liberated from Cia’s magic.

Nintendo’s website confirms this week’s Wii U Virtual Console release for North America. Tomorrow, it will be possible to purchase and download Super Street Fighter II Turbo Revival. This is the GBA port of the original game.

Here’s a brief overview:

“Choose from over 16 brawlers from the Street Fighter universe. The original eight world warriors are back, along with four playable boss characters and four newcomers. Execute special moves and super combos to wreak havoc on your opponent. There can be only one street fighter champion!”

Super Street Fighter II Turbo Revival will be available for $7.99.
