Although some amiibo are losing their retailer exclusivity in North America, a new set of upcoming figures will be sold at just one store. It turns out that the amiibo for the Mii Fighters will be distributed at only Toys “R” Us. That information is based on the image above, which is a photo snapped from a display.
All of the Mii Fighters are scheduled for November 1. You’d have to think that after a few months have passed, the amiibo will be available at other retailers as well.
Kirby and the Rainbow Curse has been discounted on Amazon. Rather than $40, you can pick it up for only $32. Orders for the game can be placed here..
Viewpoint 2064, an old game for the N64, was only shown at Space World in 1999. The scrolling shooter then disappeared for many, many years… until just recently.
On eBay, Viewpoint 2064’s prototype managed to sell for $3,000. Its new owner also shared new footage from the game, which you can see below.
Update (10/3): Bumped to the top. Have a listen to Totaka’s Song in Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer below.
Original (9/26): Totaka’s Song has become a well-known Easter egg in Nintendo games. The 19 note tune, created by sound designer Kazumi Totaka, is often hidden in game’s like The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, Luigi’s Mansion, and Mario Kart 8. It’s been going on for about 25 years.
Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer is the latest Nintendo title to feature Totaka’s Song. When you use the DJ KK amiibo card and use the turntable for the first time, you should be able to hear the melody.
