This new costume is coming to Japan once the new update releases this week. It has yet to be announced if it will be made available in the west.
We now have the block size for Photos with Animal Crossing, for those who are curious about that sort of thing. The download is 78 blocks, which is roughly 9.75 MB. Pretty small!
New information about Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night was revealed during Microsoft’s Gamescom 2015 media briefing. Creator Koji Igarashi took to the stage to provide a first look at a new character.
At the moment, the new character (pictured above) does not have a name. We know that he’s a demon hunter, and he fought the demons that first come to Earth during an attack that occurred ten years before the game begins. Igarashi confirmed that he’s a dual-sword wielding hero. Additionally, the character uses Japanese ofuda spells to fight enemies.
Update: We now have a first look at the costume. See this post.
Back in June, it was revealed that Splatoon would be getting a costume based on the Ika Musume (Squid Girl) manga. It’s finally been confirmed that the new outfit will be added in Japan following this week’s big update.
According to leaks from the latest issue of Famitsu, there are three components to the Ika Musume costume in Splatoon: hood, dress/sleeveless, and shoes. It sounds like there will be a male equivalent as well.
It’s still unknown if Nintendo will be adding the Ika Musume costume here in the west. We should be finding out pretty soon at least!

Two months ago we reported on Poi, a 3D platformer in the vein of Mario 64 and Banjo-Kazooie. Developer PolyKid has now launched its Kickstarter campaign to fund the game. A Wii U version will be realised once the game reaches its required funding of 80,000$. Check out the Kickstarter campaign here.
Splatoon’s big update is coming soon, and one of the changes listed in the patch notes was that “certain stage elements” in Arowana Mall are being adjusted in Splat Zones. However, the Japanese Splatoon Twitter account clarified today that the stage is being changed in all game modes, not just Splat Zones.
What do you think Nintendo will change? What part of Arowana Mall needs improvements?
