Disney Interactive shared new details about the Star Wars Rise Against the Empire Play Set for Disney Infinity 3.0. Studio Gobo, in partnership with Avalanche Software, is handling development.

The Star Wars Rise Against the Empire Play Set features “galaxy-spanning missions with legendary Jedi Luke Skywalker, Rebel leader Princess Leia Organa, heroic smuggler Han Solo and his trusty co-pilot Chewbacca to help defeat Darth Vader and overthrow the evil Galactic Empire.” Players will be able to experience action-adventure gameplay “as they explore open world planets like Tatooine on foot or on a Bantha, take down AT-AT walkers aboard a snowspeeder on Hoth, out-maneuver stormtroopers on a speeder bike on Endor, and partake in epic space battles in an X-wing starfighter to destroy the Death Star.”

The Star Wars Rise Against the Empire Play Set comes with Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia Organa figures. Han Solo, Chewbacca and Darth Vader will also be available and sold separately.

Big Brain Academy hit the Wii U eShop yesterday as the latest European Virtual Console download. Footage from the game can be found below.

Update: Bumped to the top. Also wanted to throw in that Splatoon has seen one of the highest sell-through rates for any game in Japan. There could be more, but we’re only aware of two titles with a sell-through rate of 97 percent. Those are Pokemon Diamond (97.12 percent) and Gundam True Odyssey (97.2 percent). Splatoon outperformed both of these titles.

During its first week in Japan, Splatoon sold 145,000 copies. Media Create has now shared a follow-up report on the game’s sales as well as related amiibo.

In terms of the best opening weeks on Wii U, Splatoon is only behind the Mario series and Super Smash Bros. Media Create points out that this is a favorable start for a brand new title.

We previously heard earlier in the week that the game was selling through roughly 90 percent of its stock. However, Media Create reveals that the percentage actually finished at 97.33 percent, with a lot of stores being sold out since release date.

So far we have not had too much information released for Langrisser Re:Incarnation Tensei, but today we have a new character to add to the list. The official website was updated and added a new character named Gustaf, a rational individual who appears to be completely void of emotion. He  also seems to be able to use a special technique similar to necromancy.

The official website was also updated with images of the regular and Legend editions of the game as well as the figure that will be included in the Legend Edition. Check them out in the images below.

The latest Pokémon Shuffle Event will start on Monday, June 8th and run until June 22nd. You will have access to Pokémon Girantina and the stage is the first in what is called Escalation Battle where time you complete a stage, it then becomes more complicated with added obstacles. When you reach Level 5, you will get 1,000 coins and when you make it all the way through to Level 50, you will receive a Disruption Delay item. The likelihood for capture also increases as the stage’s level gets higher.

New stages will also be available on Monday. The stages include Garbodor, Doublade, and Conkeldurr which continue the Pedra Valley stages. Three new Expert stages are also being added, focusing on the Kalos starter Pokémon, Chesnaught, Delphox and Greninja.

The free DLC with Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate continues! This time bringing you some awesome Animal Crossing and Devil May Cry gear, with tons more! Check it out in the video below:

Edit2: I’m sorry Brian. I’ve caused a fuss and it’s all my fault. To everyone just joining us: Don’t worry. Everything is okay. I definitely didn’t accidentally brand this post with the wrong game, cause a kerfuffle, and then fix my mistake like a ninja. Direct your complaints to this Twitter account.

Edit: Due to site reader grumpiness, I’ve changed the image and title to better reflect the fact that GOTM really has to do with a whole franchise, developer, etc, rather than just one game. If you’re unclear on what GOTM is for NintendoEverything, check out this post!

It’s E3 month which means it’s actually probably a silly idea to even have Game of the Month, but since we’ll inevitably hear more about Xenoblade Chronicles X at the show (and maybe a North American Disaster: Day of Crisis localization– fingers crossed) it fits pretty well. All month long we’ll have articles about the Xenoblade series, its developer, the older games the developer made, and various other things relating to Monolith Soft and large Japanese robots. Stay tuned for our first article this weekend!

And don’t worry– we’ll have E3 articles too.

PoPoLoCrois Farm Story could be heading west, judging by a new Twitter tease posted by XSEED.

About an hour ago, the company posted the following:

The eyes in the video clip definitely match up with what’s shown in the art above. I’d say this is very likely teasing a localization of PoPoLoCrois Farm Story. And that wouldn’t be surprising, as XSEED is basically Marvelous’ North American branch.
