Turmoil, the oil-drilling game from Gamious, will soon be receiving DLC known as Deeper Underground. The DLC will initially hit PC on September 12, but consoles – including Switch – will be getting it down the road as well.

Deeper Underground has the game entering the Roaring Twenties. A brand new campaign is included along with lots of newfangled mechanics, upgrades, new playable characters and NPCs. There’ll also be all-new areas and levels.

1 Simple Games and Midwest Games are celebrating the launch of The Lullaby of Life with a new trailer. We saw the musical puzzle adventure experience on Switch this week.

Unfixed Brain’s new project Lightwood is in the works for Switch, the studio has confirmed. Currently it does not have a release window.

Lightwood is a semi-open world Metroidvania game set inside a dying tree. While taking on Lords, players will unravel the ancient mysteries behind the kingdom’s decay.

August 5: Escape from the Pharaoh’s Tomb, the latest release from Ratalaika Games, has been announced for Switch. The title is due out this week – specifically August 9, 2024.

Escape from the Pharaoh’s Tomb is a puzzle platformer in which players aim beams of light to open a locked door and proceed to the next level. More information can be found in the following overview:

PlateUp, the roguelike co-op cooking game, has received a new update known as Fully Loaded.

The update is highlighted by advanced building a new Taco meal. Also included is the ability to make customers take their leftovers home and more.

Asphalt Legends Unite, which was previously planned for release in June, is now about to launch following a delay and there’ll be gift packages for players. Gameloft shared all of the news today.

When the announcement was originally made, Gameloft intended to have this version ready for June 17. But now the racer will be releasing on August 19. Gameloft apologized to fans “for the extended wait.”

July 17: Nintendo is gearing up for the latest Splatfest in Splatoon 3, which will be held next month.

For the latest theme, players are asked which food from Bread, Rice, and Pasta that they’d be able to eat every day.

City Connection have announced that they will be bringing shoot’em up Under Defeat to Switch on December 5 in Japan. The title, an HD remaster of the PS3/Xbox 360 original, was previously revealed earlier this year. A Western release has currently not been announced.

August 1: Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team has been announced as the latest addition to Nintendo Switch Online. The game will be available starting August 9, 2024.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team was originally made for the Game Boy Advance. If you’re a member of the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack tier, you’ll be able to gain access next week.
