As it turns out, there’s a secret boss fight hidden within the DLC that takes more than a couple of hours to unlock. Once you do, it’s surprisingly tough, and we’ve put together a guide on how to unlock this hidden boss battle and some tips on how to clear it. As a heads up, you can expect the game’s performance to dip during this fight – in our experience, things went below 30 frames per second more than a few times. As usual, there are spoilers within, so only continue if you’re okay with knowing who the secret boss is.
Following an announcement earlier this year, Gearbits now has its Nintendo Switch release date. Fans can grab it on September 25, 2025.
We initially heard about the Nintendo Switch version of Gearbits back in March. However, this is the first time we’ve had any sort of launch timing for the mecha third-person shooter.

Nickelodeon Splat Pack is on the way to Nintendo Switch, Limited Run Games just revealed.
This is a new collection of classic titles. It comes with Aaahh Real Monsters (SNES and SEGA Genesis), G.U.T.S (SNES), and Rocko’s Modern Life: Spunky’s Dangerous Day (SNES).

A new Annapurna Interactive Direct will air next week, it’s just been announced. The event goes live on September 23 at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET / 1 AM in the UK / 2 AM in Europe.
The Annapurna Interactive Direct will air just ahead of the 2025 Tokyo Game Show. Three new titles from Yarn Owl, Iridium Studios, and Marumittu Games will be shown.

Idea Factory will localize Homura: The Crimson Warriors for English release in the west, the company announced today. It will be available in 2026.
The title originally debuted as Kurenai no Homura: Sanada Ninpou Chou on the PS Vita in 2018. A Nintendo Switch version followed in February 2024 in Japan.

Team Cherry has announced a second update for Hollow Knight: Silksong. It’s not available on Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch yet, but it should be soon.
Unlike the last patch which included gameplay adjustments – notably for bosses – there’s none of that to speak of here. This time around, Team Cherry is mostly focusing on bug fixes.

Sometimes You is partnering with Anything Nose Productions to bring Mouthole to Nintendo Switch, the publisher shared today. The game will be out on September 30, 2025.

While there technically hasn’t been an official announcement, it looks like Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter.
Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter hasn’t officially launched just yet – that’ll be happening later this week. However, it seems that some fans have already gotten their hands on the RPG, and it includes a teaser trailer for what should be Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter. This would be a remake of The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC.
Today, Sunsoft unveiled Ripple Island Kyle and Cal’s Restaurant as its debut Nintendo Switch 2 game. A release is planned for November 27, 2025.
Ripple Island Kyle and Cal’s Restaurant, a cooperative cooking action game, supports up to 16 players online. Up to four players can also team up locally.

Announced today, a Nintendo Switch version of Heart of Crown is in development. The game is due out on December 18, 2025.
Heart of Crown is an online deck-growing card game in which players grow their deck and fight for the Princess. A physical release is confirmed for Japan, and those who pre-order will receive eight hologram cards.
