As reported by MCV, independent game retailers now have the ability to sell digital games for Wii U and 3DS.
DLCSoft, a subsidiary of CentreSoft, is in charge of the service. Selling digital Nintendo titles will allow retailers “to establish their stores as a true digital destination on the High Street.”
Mario and Zelda are among the games set to be sold. Retailers will be able to sell full games and digital-only eShop titles.
CW-Games hopes to launch Chimpuzzle Pro on the European Wii U eShop on July 31 “if everything goes well.” Footage from the game is posted above.
Koei Tecmo appears to be readying another character reveal for Hyrule Warriors. The game’s official Twitter account teased that the probability of an announcement is 98%, and fans are advised to check out this week’s issue of Famitsu.

Pokemon X and Pokemon Y players can now download Fancy Pattern Vivillon. The special creature is being distributed to celebrate 100 million trades in the GTS, which happened yesterday. Fancy Pattern Vivillon can’t be found under normal circumstances, so this is most definitely a unique promotion.
Though the game is already out in the West and has been out in Japan for even longer, the demo for Bravely Default was just updated on the Japanese eShop. Up to Chapter 4 of the game is now playable and the full game update is available for purchase for 2000 yen, unlocking the voice acting along with the remaining content.
Prince of Tennis II is slated for a November 6th release and today a few screenshots were released along with a few tidbits:
- The game follows the anime series
- Takes place in a training camp
- You play as a female rookie journalist who interviews the team members
