With past Mega Man collections on Switch, fans of physical media haven’t necessarily been happy with Capcom’s release plans. Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 + 2 and Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 + 2 both required additional downloads. In other words, you don’t get every game on a single cartridge.

Capcom is finally changing its ways with Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection. The company has confirmed that all six games will be included on a single cartridge. That also goes for the Z Chaser mode. Fortunately, there will be no additional downloads this time around.

Today, Capcom revealed a brand new mode that’ll be included in the Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection. “Z Chaser” is essentially a speedrun mode in which you try to clear stages as quickly as possible. There’s also a local co-op option, as well as online leaderbords. Check out the trailer for it:

Some of the first off-screen footage for Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection has emerged from PAX West 2019. Take a look at a couple of videos below.

GameStop has posted the boxart for Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection, which was officially announced for Switch yesterday. Check it out above.

Capcom has uploaded a “Reploid Remixes” video for Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection. If you pre-order the package of games, you’ll receive ten new in-game songs – one new stage remix in each of the six games, and four bonus Music Player tracks.

A listing on the PlayStation Store in Hong Kong has outed Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection. While PlayStation 4 is the only confirmed platform at present, we’re expecting a Switch release as well. Both Mega Man Legacy Collection and Mega Man X Legacy Collection are available for Nintendo’s console.

Capcom has readied a new trailer to promote Resident Evil Triple Pack, which features Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil 6, and Resident Evil 6. Watch it below.

Two decades ago, Capcom released the 3D fighting game Power Stone. Although it hasn’t gained as much recognition as some of the company’s other IPs, it does have a cult following. And although the series has been dormant for quite some time, producer Takeshi Tezuka has some interest in bringing it back – and possibly on Switch.

Speaking with The Guardian, Tezuka said that fans still ask him to this day to create a new Power Stone title. He said that he’d be interested in making that happen if the opportunity presented itself, and it would be a “great fit” for Switch.

Capcom is pulling DuckTales Remastered from all digital storefronts, including Wii U. The title will no longer be available to purchase from the eShop as of August 9 at 4:59 PM PT / 7:59 PM ET. You can save 75 percent on the original price until its removal.

If you have the physical version, today’s news won’t affect you in any way. Also, if you previously purchased the digital version, you’ll be able to continue playing.
