Gust has released a new Japanese trailer for Nights of Azure 2. This one is focused entirely on story and characters, so be wary of spoilers:

Koei Tecmo dropped a new video for Fire Emblem Warriors just a short while ago. The clip, which is in Japanese, gives us a look at Bond Conversations with some Japanese dialogue between Chrom and Marth. View the video below.

This month’s issue of Nintendo Dream contains a lengthy interview with a couple of developers working on Fire Emblem Warriors. The Japanese magazine spoke with producer Yosuke Hayashi and director Hiroya Usuda. The interview covers some old topics, but also expands on previous interviews and throws new discussions into the mix as well.

Hayashi and Usuda first elaborated on Fire Emblem Warriors origins. The interview later talks about how the represented characters and games were chosen, including heated conversations between the developers, going with Shadow Dragon over the original game, choosing female Corrin over her male counterpart, and more. There’s also talk about the original characters and how their designs were updated after seeing the new characters in Fire Emblem Heroes – and plenty of other topics.

You can read the full Nintendo Dream interview with Hayashi and Usuda below.

Koei Tecmo issued a few more screenshots from Fire Emblem Warriors today. The images give us a look at Bond Conversations, among other things. Look at the new screenshots below.

New details have come in for Fire Emblem Warriors. Along with overviews of characters, there’s also news about Bond Levels and more.

First up, character details:

Robin

– A mysterious person who was rescued by Chrom when he collapsed on the wayside
– When he woke up, he already lost his memory
– He has a natural talent in tactics, and he has been assisting Chrom in various strategies as his strategist
– His class is Tactician, which is his first class in the original game
– He will fight by using a magic book

Lissa

– Chrom’s sister, and also the princess of the halidom of Ylisse
– She has a bright and innocent personality suitable for her age, and she always encourages her friends
– Her first class in the original game was a Cleric which could heal allies’ HP, but in this game, she wields an axe and fights on the frontlines by herself
– Just like War Clerics in Fire Emblem Awakening, she also excels in close-range combat while being a healer

Koei Tecmo held a Nights of Azure 2 live stream today where the various collector’s edition items were shown off, in addition to some gameplay (note that the PS4 version of the game was played on the stream). You can find the recording below.

The stream also revealed that the Switch version of the game will get some exclusive costume DLC – specifically, Yuri Kozukata’s outfit from Project Zero / Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water.

The official Japanese Fire Emblem Warriors website has been updated to include character biographies and voice samples for the recently revealed Robin, Frederick, Lissa and Lucina. Sadly, that’s pretty much all there is to it as the website doesn’t provide any additional info on how the characters play and the bios are rather short and basic.
