A new Pokemon movie in Japan always means some tie-in promotions with the current games, and this time will be no different, as the latest issue of CoroCoro magazine reveals. The latest Pokemon movie, titled “Everyone’s Story”, will be released in Japan on July 13th. The Legendary Pokemon its story focuses on is Lugia, and as such, Lugia will be distributed via a serial code if you pre-book tickets for the movie between April 13th and July 12th. Codes will be valid until September 30th and can be redeemed in Pokemon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.
This Lugia has its Hidden Ability, Multiscale, and comes with the moves Aeroblast, Defog, Tailwind and Hurricane, a move it can’t learn normally. Lugia will be at level 100.
It’s currently unknown whether or not this Lugia will also be distributed outside Japan in some form.

A new job listing has been spotted for a localization editor who will work with The Pokemon Company. It’s a 6-month contract, with the person’s role expected to begin between April and June. Duties involve “all editorial facets of video games, and related materials (video game strategy guide, video game web site etc.)”.
One prominent rumor circulating is that this job posting is related to the upcoming Pokemon game for Switch. Even further, some are speculating that localization is underway and the title could ship by the end of the year. While these are possibilities, we aren’t willing to say that ourselves just yet. Keep in mind that the job posting is also not officially confirmed to be for the mainline Pokemon RPG on Switch.

Though you may be unaware, Pyukumuku is a favorite among Alolans. It’s had a bit of a toxic reputation, but hopefully the below video will get rid of your spite.
It seems that the people who made this song put their hearts into it, innards out. Other Pokemon with similar songs include Slowpoke, Magikarp, Mimikyu and Gengar.
