The previously-announced 5.2.0 update for Splatoon 2 is out now. As previously mentioned, it includes a bunch of weapon changes.

A new demo has also been announced, which will be offered between April 29 and May 6. Users can access Turf War, Ranked Battle, and even Salmon Run. Those who download the demo can play online with players who own the full game. Finally, Splatoon 2 will be sold at a discounted price on the eShop during the duration of the demo, and a free 7-day trial of Nintendo Switch Online will also be available.

Nintendo has revealed a series of free updates set to arrive in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

The fun begins on April 23 with Leif’s Garden Shop, Jolly Redd’s Treasure Trawler, and Nature Day. Coming up next is May Day Tour on May 1, followed by International Museum Day starting May 18, and Wedding Season beginning June 1.

Super Mario Maker 2 is getting one final free update on April 22, Nintendo has announced. Among the new features included, players will finally be able to create their own world map.

As far as enemies go, all seven of the Koopalings will now be available, in addition to Phanto and the Mechakoopas. New power-ups include the SMB2 Mushroom, Frog Suit from Super Mario Bros. 3, Power Balloon from Super Mario World, the Super Acorn from New Super Mario Bros. U, and the Boomerang Flower from Super Mario 3D World. Five variations for wearables will also be added like the Cannon Box and Propeller Box from Super Mario 3D World.

Neon City Riders will be given a new “Super-Powered Edition” update, developer Mecha Studios has announced. The news was shared in an official website news letter.

Players can look forward to an easier default difficulty, with an extra challenge relegated to “Old-School” mode. Navigation has also been enhanced while updating the UI. There are some other changes as well.

Dragon Marked for Death

Dragon Marked for Death version 3.0.0 will not launch this coming week as originally expected. Inti Creates is delaying its release, the company announced. Inti Creates has been impacted by having to work out of the office due to the coronavirus.

Dragon Marked for Death version 3.0.0 features the Oracle and the Bandit as new playable characters. Other new features are coming as well such as brand new weapon categories, powering up weapons as a whole, increased level caps, and more.

A new update is now live for Nintendo Switch Parental Controls – at least on iOS. The app is now at version 1.12.0.

According to Nintendo, today’s update includes support for iOS 13. Other than that, bug fixes have been implemented.

Exit the Gungeon

Exit the Gungeon was updated on Switch this week to version 2.0.6. Dodge Roll implemented changes related to controls, gameplay, and balancing while also taking care of numerous bugs.
