Earlier this month, Double Fine tweeted out interest in bringing Psychonauts 2 to Switch. The company said that it hopes to “hit up as many platforms as we can with that one”.

That was followed up with another tweet a couple of days later. Double Fine clarified that there are “no existing plans for a Switch version, but it is possible we might later on”.

Over on Glixel, there’s a pretty massive interview with Gearbox Software president and CEO Randy Pitchford. One portion of the discussion went over Pitchford’s recent comments about Switch.

Pitchford said last week that he doesn’t see Borderlands 3 happening on Switch. Communications with Nintendo had been taking place, but stopped for unknown reasons.

Now Pitchford has elaborated on that and much more in Glixel’s interview. He had plenty of praise for Switch, and did also say that “there might be some scenarios where if the Switch becomes a place where there’s a huge number of customers, and it doesn’t compromise the experience that we’re making – there could be a scenario where us or Take-Two and 2K decide to take the effort to make it happen.”

Read up on Pitchford’s full comments below.

The new updates for Pokemon Bank and Poke Transporter are now available. The two apps have been updated to version 1.3 and 1.2 respectively.

After downloading the Pokemon Bank update, compatibility will be added in with Pokemon Sun/Moon. And for Poke Transporter, creatures from Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow on the 3DS Virtual Console can be transferred into Pokemon Sun/Moon.

Three more games are heading to Switch for the console’s launch. World of Goo, Little Inferno, and Human Resource Machine will all be out on March 3.

World of Goo previously ended up on Wii, while Little Inferno and Human Resource Machine were originally made for Wii U. New to the Switch versions is a Soundtrack Mode. Here, “players can explore Kyle Gabler’s wonderfully bizarre music in this special mode”.

For those who haven’t heard about these titles previously, here’s a look at each one:

TT Games head of design Arthur Parsons randomly told one fan on his Twitter page yesterday that LEGO Worlds is planned for Switch. That’s despite the fact that Warner Bros. hadn’t actually made an announcement.

Due to a lack of confirmation, some fans were concerned that Parsons may have simply been mistaken. But fear not: LEGO Worlds is indeed set for Switch. A release date hasn’t been determined, but publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment says it’s happening.

Last March, a new Pokemon smartphone game known as Pokemon Comaster launched in Japan. It’s now been localized for North America and Europe as “Pokemon Duel”.

For those who haven’t heard about it previously, here’s a lengthy overview:

Pokémon Duel is a strategy board game that uses Pokémon figures. Build a deck with your favorite figures and then leap into a League Match! Compete with players from around the world for a chance to enter the top League rankings in League Matches. You’ll fight your rivals in real time! Win duels, get all kinds of cool figures and items, and make your deck stronger!

The rules are simple! The object is to be the first player to get one of your figures to your opponent’s goal. How will you get to the goal? You’ll need to carefully choose your route! In duels, you and your opponent take turns moving your figures. Set up a strategic formation and attack your opponent, or simply block their path—it’s all about tactics! Plan your strategy and defeat your opponents in this game of cat and mouse!

In duels, your deck is composed of 6 Pokémon figures. There are all kinds of figures, each with different moves and abilities. Keep this in mind as you build your own custom deck!

Make use of your custom deck and the AI! The AI is a reliable ally who will determine good moves and take your turn for you. Make full use of the AI and crush your opponents!

You can find Pokemon Duel on iOS here and Android here. It’s free-to-play, but there are in-app microtransactions of course.
