We reported on the Sonic Frontiers “Birthday Bash” update earlier today which added new content and features, but now that the patch notes for version 1.30 are in, we can see that there was actually more than what SEGA announced during the Sonic Central presentation.
There are actually a bunch of additions here that you may have been unaware of. SEGA has since highlighted an ability to change the rate of deceleration when jumping, an option to set whether the camera will use dramatic angles when skills are used, 24 songs to the Juke Box and Song Memories on each island, and more.
The full patch notes for the Sonic Frontiers version 1.30 update are as follows:

Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 was confirmed for Switch earlier this week, but Konami won’t be stopping there as Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 is happening as well. This package is also apparently planned for Switch, and it looks like the lineup has been revealed.
Twitter user Nitroid discovered placeholder buttons within the official website’s source code. Specifically, these are for Metal Gear Solid 4, Metal Gear Solid 5, and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. IGN reports that the lineup here is accurate.
Fan spends over $3,500 to rant about Splatoon 3 at Nintendo shareholder meeting

Some bizarre situations have occurred at Nintendo’s financial meetings in the past, but one of the strangest happenings took place earlier today.
The Big N held its annual shareholder meeting, and per usual, it included a Q&A session. Reports have surfaced that someone was ranting “loudly” about female characters’ perceived preferential treatment in Splatoon 3 regarding customization. This person felt there is a lack of options for male characters, including hairstyles and emotes, compared to those available to the female counterpart.

[Preview] Fae Farm: a massive, magic-themed life sim with deep potential
Posted on 1 year ago by Nicholas Serpa in Previews, Switch | 0 comments
It’s becoming more difficult for games in the increasingly crowded farming/life-sim genre to stand out from the pack. Fae Farm – the next release from Phoenix Labs, who previously released Dauntless – is trying to carve its own niche by embracing a magical setting and promising exciting features like drop-in-drop-out online multiplayer and combat-focused dungeons. The game has had some prominent marketing, but it would be unfair not to mention that several thematically-similar indies have also been announced recently, including Garden Witch Life, WItchbrook, and Fields of Mistria. After getting hands on with Fae Farm, though, I was surprised at just how massive this game’s scope appears to be – it seems poised to be one of the densest, most mechanically rich attempts at this type of game that we’ve seen in a while.

E3 2024 and E3 2025 seemingly cancelled
Posted on 1 year ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in General Nintendo, News | 0 comments
Original: Based on the results of a meeting from the Los Angeles City Tourism Board of Commissioners, E3 2024 and E3 2025 may both be cancelled.
The accompanying Regular Meeting Packet from June 16 includes a note stating the show has been scrapped over the next couple of years. Originally, E3 2024 and E3 2025 were planned for June 11 and June 3 in their respective years. The ESA hasn’t shared an official comment, but it would be bizarre to include this information if the expo was still on track.
