In an unexpected move, it seems like the Anniversary Edition of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has just been made available to players via the Switch eShop.

While the game had previously been rumored to come to Switch, with a rating for it popping up recently in both Europe and Taiwan, this is still a bit of a sudden release. Regardless, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition seems to be currently available for purchase in all regions, with the option for players to either upgrade from an existing version of the game or purchase a bundle with the base game and Anniversary content both included.

Here is a very brief blurb from Bethesda’s website regarding the content featured in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition:

Smash Bros Mii Fighter Reggie

Former Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime has spoken about the memorable reveal trailer for the Mii Fighter in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for Wii U / 3DS.

Nintendo has had many special moments in its online presentations over the years, but this one in particular stood out. In it, Reggie went into battle with late Nintendo global president Satoru Iwata, complete with punches and headbutts. The fun video was a way of introducing fans to the idea that they could use any Mii character they create as a fighter in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U / 3DS.

Mario Rabbids Sparks Hope Rayman

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is fast approaching, and Ubisoft recently held a hands-on event for the media. After spending a few hours with the game, we also had a chance to speak with associate producer Quentin Correggi. Correggi touched on combat changes that have been made compared to Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, the work and detail being put into the animation, his excitement for bringing back Rayman, and more.

You can read our full discussion with Correggi. We also have a video version at the end of this post.

It’s been a long time coming, but in just a couple of weeks, we’ll finally be getting a first glimpse at the Super Mario Bros. animated movie. We’ve known about the film for years, but Nintendo and Illumination have yet to share any sort of look at the film. That changes in early October though, as it’s been confirmed that the first teaser trailer will debut at New York Comic Con.

You could make the case that Nintendo has a lot riding on this film. As fans know, the company really hasn’t explored the movie space. After the 1993 live-action Mario film which was derided, Nintendo wasn’t too interested in exploring movies.

With the animated Mario movie trailer coming in very soon, what do you hope that the teaser will show? What do you personally expect from the video? Do you have any hopes and dreams for the movie overall? Let us know in the comments.
