SNK 40th Anniversary Collection reveals first free post-launch games

SNK 40th Anniversary Collection will initially include thirteen titles. But after launch, NIS America and Digital Eclipse will be offering even more content.
Announced at PAX West 2018 today, ten new games will be added following launch. The first five were unveiled during a panel that just concluded. They are as follows:

RPG Maker MV launches February 26

During a panel at PAX West 2018 today, NIS America revealed the release date for RPG Maker MV. The title will be available starting February 26, 2019.
RPG Maker MV allows users to create their own games and share them with others. The Switch and Xbox One versions will be compatible. By downloading the RPG Maker Player, others can experience your creations – even if they don’t own RPG Maker MV.
RPG Maker MV will have double the amount of content from the original PC release. Additionally, USB keyboard support is included.

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle sells over two million copies

We have a sales update on Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, straight from the game’s director. Since launch, the Switch title has managed to sell over two million copies.
Ubisoft hasn’t said too much about Mario + Rabbids’ sales on the record. However, as of last September, it was the best-selling third-party game on Switch.

Falcom on reason for porting Ys VIII to Switch, future support, and Smash Bros.

After mostly shying away from Nintendo platforms, Falcom had one of its latest games on Switch with Ys VIII. Nippon Ichi was brought in to help port the action RPG.
In an interview with French site ActuGaming, Falcom president Toshihiro Kondo was asked about the reason for releasing Ys VIII on Switch, the possibility of future support, and even potential interest in having Adol in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. We’ve translated those excerpts as follows:
