Trials Rising about to kick off Christmas event, new update incoming

Trials Rising will host a Christmas event between December 12 and December 30, Ubisoft has announced. Players can earn Christmas Event Gear Crates containing special themed items along with regular Gear Crate items. Content includes Santa’s Helper Outfit, Snowman Helmet, Tangled Christmas Lights Headlight, and seven themed helmet accessories.
In other Trials Rising news, a new update is expected on Switch tomorrow. Find the full patch notes below.

Brawlhalla gets Steven Universe collaboration

Collaborations have been a regular occurrence in Brawlhalla, Ubisoft and Blue Mammoth Games’ free-to-play fighter. The latest one features Steven Universe – Cartoon Network’s animated television series.

UK: Just Dance 2020 sells more on Wii than PS4/Xbox One, new Mario & Sonic has best debut since 2011

Two more games debuted in the UK last week: Just Dance 2020 and Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020. There are interesting things to say about both.
As for Just Dance 2020, it debuted on the charts at #15. What’s noteworthy is the platform breakdown. Switch led the way with 55 percent of all Just Dance 2020 sales. Next up was Wii at 21 percent, followed by the PlayStation 4 at 14 percent and Xbox One at 10 percent. That means Just Dance 2020 sold more on Wii than Sony and Microsoft’s consoles.
As for Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, it came in at #8. The title is the series’ most successful entry since Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games, a Wii title from 2011.
Ubisoft clarifies that Just Dance 2020 is its last Wii game, but unsure if it’s the last Wii game ever

Just Dance 2020 found its way to Wii yesterday. We’re two console generations past that console between the Wii U and Switch, but Ubisoft was still bringing its series to the much-older Nintendo console. That’s finally stopping with Just Dance 2020 – Just Dance 2021 won’t be on Wii.
Just Dance 2020 could be the last game to ever be released on Wii. However, Ubisoft has said that it is unclear what plans other publishers have in mind.

WWE Superstars Roman Reigns, The Undertaker, Asuka and WWE Hall of Famer “Macho Man” Randy Savage Join Brawlhalla® As Epic Crossovers Today
Ubisoft is continuing its partnership with WWE for the Epic Crossovers event in Brawlhalla. Roman Reigns, The Undertaker, Asuka, and WWE Hall of Famer “Macho Man” Randy Savage have been added to the game. Additionally, the free game mode Brawldown is back as the Brawl of the Week, which includes a ring, breakable tables and fun rope physics.
Players can obtain the following WWE Superstar Epic Crossovers for 300 Mammoth coins each:

Gods & Monsters team shares message about the delay, Ubisoft hoping it’ll become a franchise

Gods & Monsters was hit with a delay this week, which many saw coming due to a lack of news following the initial reveal at E3 2019 back in June. Instead of February, Ubisoft has pushed the game back into the next fiscal year starting April 2020.
After the delay was announced, the Gods & Monsters team shared a message for the fans. It reads in full:

During its E3 2019 press conference, Ubisoft closed out the show by announcing Gods & Monsters. The Zelda-esque action-adventure game was slated for February, but we’ve seen nothing of the game since. Unsurprisingly, Ubisoft has now announced a delay.
Gods & Monsters will now launch sometime during the next fiscal year, which starts on April 1, 2020. A more specific window beyond this has not yet been provided.
Regarding the delay of Gods & Monsters and other titles, Ubisoft explained: “we want our teams to have more development time to ensure that their respective innovations are perfectly implemented so as to deliver optimal experiences for players.”
