SEGA published another (Japanese) trailer for Valkyria Chronicles 4 today. This one gives an overview of the game’s combat system:

Following two similar videos earlier this week, Koei Tecmo published another Attack on Titan 2 gameplay video today. This one shows off Sasha and Conny in their civilian outfits:

The latest event in Fire Emblem Heroes has begun. The most recent Voting Gauntlet pits Celica, Robin, Takumi and Zelgius against their dark counterparts. As always, you’ll choose one of them to support in each round and fight against the opposing team. Each of the Voting Gauntlet’s rounds lasts two days, so make sure you do the accompanying quests on time so that you can get most of the rewards.

Development is currently underway for Shin Megami Tensei V on Switch, though it’ll likely be some time until its release. Shin Megami Tensei IV, meanwhile, has been out for a while now – in two versions no less, SMT IV and SMT IV: Apocalypse (subtitled “Final” in Japan). If you own a Japanese 3DS and have been meaning to catch up on SMT IV, Atlus has got you covered: on April 19, the Shin Megami Tensei IV Double Hero Pack will be released in Japan, which will contain both the standard game and SMT IV: Final. It will cost 4,980 Yen.

No word yet on whether or not this will be released in the West, though it seems somewhat unlikely.

God Wars: The Complete Legend

In addition to lots of new info about the game and its Japanese release, Kadokawa Games also released the first trailer for God Wars: The Complete Legend today. Give it a watch:

The Wall Street Journal’s Takashi Mochizuki has published another report on the Switch. Mochizuki has a pretty good track records when it comes to information regarding Nintendo, but still: keep in mind that the following is not 100% confirmed.

According to his sources, Nintendo is looking to boost Switch sales in the near future using peripherals rather than hardware revisions. Nintendo’s handhelds saw numerous and constant revisions and re-releases over the years, but apparently they are holding off on those for the Switch, at least for now. Instead, Nintendo will focus on better manufacturing and shipping of the current and only model. Also, the Switch’s USB-C port will supposedly be used for additonal network-related features and peripherals.

Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima recently talked about extending the Switch’s life cycle beyond the usual five or six years. According to “one person familiar with development plans”, holding off on hardware revisions for now will be one of the ways Nintendo hopes to accomplish that.

It’s the start of a new month, which means new rewards are now live at My Nintendo. Here’s what’s new on the European version:

A special log-in bonus of 20 orbs and 2018 feathers awaits players when they log in to Fire Emblem Heroes today. This is to celebrate the game winning the category “Best Mobile” at the 2018 DICE Awards recently.

Also, it’s the start of a new month, which means three new sets of quests for March are now live. As always, you have until the end of this month to complete them.

In addition to the new stage Goby Arena, a brand-new weapon will also be added to Splatoon 2 at the same time: the Dark Tetra Dualies. These dualies allow you to dodge-roll four times in a row, and you can continue shooting while rolling. They come with the Autobomb sub-weapon and the Splashdown special.
