As of this week, Famitsu has stopped tracking Wii U hardware sales numbers in Japan. With these numbers only being in the double digits each week lately, it seems like they have now reached a point where it’s no longer viable or possible to accurately track them each week. The other major sales figure tracker for the Japanese market, Media Create, stopped reporting Wii U numbers a while ago. As it stands, the final number of Wii U consoles sold in Japan, as reported  by Famitsu, is 3,303,541.

We have entered the final 24 hours of the first round of the Heroic Feats event. Currently, out of the 10 million needed, Heroes with Fury have been sent into battle collectively by all players 7,677,733 times during the event period. To help players reach the goal, for the final 24 hours of the event, a bonus period has been activated, meaning each time you send a Hero with Fury into battle, it counts double towards the goal of 10 million.

Finally, it’s Thursday, which means that Tactics Drills got updated. The new map “Spurred On” can be found in the Grandmaster section.

The latest Persona Q2 character trailer is here, and this one is all about Margaret, the Velvet Room attendant:

Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition

Koei Tecmo published a notice today, announcing that they are raising the income forecast for the second quarter of the current fiscal year. One of the reasons they stated for doing so was that Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition sold much more than they expected it to in the West.

We don’t have any concrete sales numbers for the game’s performance outside Japan, only that it hadn’t yet sold more than a million copies worldwide as of Nintendo’s last financial report on June 30th. Regardless, it seems like the game has been a success for Koei Tecmo and Nintendo.

The first round of the Heroic Feats event in Fire Emblem Heroes started yesterday. Collectively, players have to send Heroes with the Fury skill into battle a total of 10 million times until October 12th. The Fire Emblem Heroes Twitter account has now revealed the current progress: as of three hours ago, i.e. 72 hours until the deadline, Heroes with Fury were used 2,357,376 times, so a bit less than a quarter of the goal. At this rate, it’s going to be pretty close, but doable.

D3 Publisher and Red Entertainment are bringing the otome visual novel Nightshade to Nintendo Switch. The game will launch in Japan on December 20th. Although a localization and a release in other regions has not yet been confirmed, the game is listed as having English language support. The Steam version of the game is also already available in English, so a Western release of the Switch version seems pretty likely, all things considered.
