Contra Anniversary Collection details physical release on Switch

Limited Run Games today unveiled details about its plans for the physical release of Contra Anniversary Collection on Switch. A few different editions are planned.
Fans can choose between the standard, “Classic”, “Hard Corps”, and “Ultimate Edition”. We have the rundown as to what’s included in each below.
Action puzzle game Cardful Planning releasing on Switch next week

Today, publisher Thalamus Digital and developer Walk Home Games announced that Cardful Planning will be landing on Switch next week. The action puzzle title is slated for April 29, 2022.
Cardful Planning originally debuted last year. The game puts players in the role of a brave playing card on a quest to rescue the love of their life from the clutches of the evil boss “The Bad Hand” by traversing multiple levels and using numerous abilities. Space shooter New Terra hitting Switch next week

Winteryear Studios has announced that New Terra, its multidirectional gravity-based space shooter, is landing on Switch next week. A release is planned for April 28, 2022.

ARK: Ultimate Survivor Edition announced for Switch

Studio Wildcard will be releasing ARK: Ultimate Survivor Edition on Switch later this year, the developer announced today. It will be available in September 2022.
ARK: Ultimate Survivor Edition includes “hundreds of hours of content including ARK: Survival Evolved and all its massive Expansion Packs Scorched Earth, Aberration, Extinction, and Genesis Parts 1 & 2.” The Scorched Earth Expansion Pack will be released at launch with subsequent expansions following in two month intervals. Also planned is a “Young Explorers” Mode – or educational mode – in which players can discover and learn about the prehistoric creatures that inspired the game.
El Shaddai coming to Switch

A Switch version of El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron is in development, director Sawaki Takeyasu revealed today. That news was shared in a message posted on YouTube.
Additional information will follow on April 28, 2022. That day happens to be El Shaddai’s 11th anniversary.

Shin Megami Tensei V surpasses one million copies sold

Shin Megami Tensei V has sold over one million copies, Atlus has announced. That number is based on shipments of the physical version as well as digital downloads.

The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ has been given a new 1.7 update on Switch, specifically for the Repentance DLC. This brings it line with the PC version of the game.
