XX Mission will launch on Switch this week as the latest Arcade Archives game, Hamster has announced. It will be available worldwide on January 23.

UPL originally created XX Mission, which launched in 1986. The shoot ’em up has players taking on varying degrees of aircraft fleets.

Pricing for Arcade Archives XX Mission is set at $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29.

Forever Entertainment will publish the puzzle title OmoTomO on Switch this week, according to an eShop listing. A digital release is scheduled for January 23.

Fire Emblem Heroes is prepared for its third anniversary with Choose Your Legends: Round 4, Nintendo and Intelligent Systems have announced.

Fans can vote on their favorite characters among the many featured throughout the Fire Emblem franchise. The top two male Heroes and top two female Heroes will appear within the year with special outfits. Additionally, My Nintendo members can earn 100 Platinum Points for participating.

Nintendo isn’t slowing down on the new spirit additions for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Another new event has been announced, this time featuring Kunio-kun / River City.

Four new spirits will be added in total. The event kicks off on January 24, lasting for five days.

Mortal Kombat Kollection Online could be bound for Switch, judging by a new rating in Europe. PEGI rated the package for Switch and other platforms today.

Blind Squirrel Games was once working on remakes of the original Mortal Kombat games. However, it was reported last year that the collection had been cancelled. If this new rating is anything to go by, it’s possible that it could materialize into an actual product.

Niantic has announced that it will kick off a new Lunar New Year event in Pokemon GO on January 24. Lasting through February 3, certain red Pokemon will be showing up more frequently. There are also plans for lucky bonuses and the appearance of Darumaka.

Minccino will also be arriving for a special Limited Research event on February 2.
