XSEED’s PAX West 2019 lineup

XSEED Games has announced its lineup for PAX West 2019. Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin, Heroland, and BurgerTime Party! will be playable on Switch while Granblue Fantasy: Versus and Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes Complete Edition will also be present.

Nintendo releases Daemon X Machina’s “Order Zero” prologue animation with English subtitles

A few weeks ago, Marvelous shared a prologue animation for Daemon X Machina in Japanese. Nintendo has now shared the same video, but with English subtitles.

Conan Chop Chop delayed to Q1 2020, adding online multiplayer

Conan Chop Chop is seeing a delay. The action-adventure roguelike will now launch in Q1 2020, publisher Funcom and developer Mighty Kingdom have announced.
Funcom says that the two sides “decided to increase their investment in the project to deliver a bigger and better game.” As part of this, online multiplayer will be implemented.

A look at the first set of free costumes for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order is getting an update on August 30. When that happens, players will be able to access Cyclops and Colossus. It’ll also add new costumes for Spider-Man, Hulk, and Captain Marvel.

Ratalakia Games ports Construct 2 engine to Switch

Construct 2, an engine generally used to create 2D games, doesn’t officially support Switch. However, Ratalakia Games has just now wrapped up a port that will allow titles made with the tech to be released on Nintendo’s console.

Square Enix’s PAX West 2019 lineup

Square Enix today announced its full lineup for PAX West 2019. Playable titles include Trials of Mana, Final Fantasy VIII Remastered, Oninaki, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Final Fantasy XIV Online, Life is Strange 2, Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia, Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, and Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross].
Square Enix is also planning a number of activities, including a double-sided poster featuring key art from Trials of Mana and Collection of Mana.
PAX West 2019 runs between August 30 and September 2 at the Washington State Convention Center. Square Enic can be found at Booth #2141.

Wii U and 3DS will no longer let you use credit cards directly on the eShop starting in September

Nintendo is changing up how the Wii U and 3DS eShops accept credit cards. Starting in September, it will no longer be possible to use them directly.
Going forward, users will need to visit a specific URL while having their Nintendo Network ID linked to a Nintendo Account. After that, funds can then be used on Nintendo’s website as well as the eShop.
