Ryan Reynolds has been stopping by all of the big talk shows over the past few days to promote Pokemon Detective Pikachu. That included a visit on The Tonight Show where he was interviewed by Jimmy Fallon.

At one point, Reynolds was asked if he considered changing his voice for playing the role of Detective Pikachu or doing a different type of character. It turns out be did, but was ultimately shot down. While Reynolds wanted to go with a “film noire” type of voice, the people in charge didn’t believe that would be the right approach.

Undead Horde

Undead Horde was originally expected on Switch last year, but that didn’t happen. However, the game has now received a page on the eShop with what looks to be a final release date: May 15.

Here’s a brief overivew of the action game, along with a trailer:

Play-Asia has opened pre-orders for the Rune Factory 4 Special Memorial Box. If you’d like to reserve a copy, you can do so here.

The Rune Factory 4 Special Memorial Box comes with a few goodies. Aside from the game, you’ll receive a Special Box illustration by Minako Iwasaki, Rune Factory Memorial Book, Kyun Secret Private CD set, and “Everyone in Swimsuits” additional event DLC.

Keep in mind that English support has not yet been confirmed. That being said, this has been a popular item that has sold out at other Japanese retailers, so you may want to get an order in to be on the safe side.

Amazon UK has opened pre-orders for the Fire Emblem: Three Houses Limited Edition. If interested, you can reserve it here.

The Fire Emblem: Three Houses Limited Edition includes the game, an artbook, SteelBook, sound selection USB stick, and pin badge set.

Now that Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age has arrived on new platforms, Digital Foundry has taken a closer look at the RPG from a technical perspective. We’re able to see how the Switch version holds up against the Xbox One release.

First up, Final Fantasy XII is just 12GB on Switch. That’s in comparison to the file size of 26GB for the Xbox One version. The two versions are very similar, and the only notable different on Switch is that there are some lower resolution textures.

Nintendo Switch Online

Each month, Nintendo adds a new wave of NES games to the Nintendo Switch Online service for subscribers. That will continue once again in May, and we should be finding out about the latest round of titles soon. However, Nintendo’s very own website appears to have outed the lineup early.

The site lists the following as upcoming titles:

Fire Emblem Heroes has brought back the Grand Hero Aersa: Dark One, who is from Fire Emblem Awakening. She can be found once again in Special Maps.

Take down Aversa to make her your ally. On top of that, players can take on limited time quests.

Grand Hero Battle Revival – Aversa: Dark One will be live in Fire Emblem Heroes until May 12.

Serious Sam 4

Croteam has long been known for its work on the Serious Sam franchise, including the upcoming Serious Sam 4. The developer also has another hits on its hands with the 2014 first-person puzzler The Talos Principle. Both of these IPs could very well be finding their way to Switch in the future.

The first bit of news comes from Croteam CTO Alen Ladavac and marketing manager Daniel Lucic. In an interview with Wccftech, the two revealed that its new engine for Serious Sam is being ported to Switch. On top of that, Lucic revealed that The Talos Principle is “likely” for Nintendo’s system.

Here’s the full exchange:

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems are back again with another character introduction for Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Today’s update is for Jeralt, who is voiced by Akio Ootsuka in the Japanese version.

Jeralt play the role of the protagonist’s father, but is also a veteran knight. He previously served as the head knight for the Church of Seiros, and was considered to be the strongest knight ever. He ended up leaving his position and became a mercenary. Sadly, his wife has already passed away. Jeralt returns to the Knights of Seiros towards the start of Fire Emblem: Three Houses after students are saved from the Officer’s Academy.
