Even though Switch lacks a Virtual Console, we’ve seen many classic games from a variety of systems on the platform. NES, NeoGeo, SEGA Genesis, and releases from the arcade are among what has landed on Nintendo’s console – and we’re not even a full two years in yet.

Now thanks to SimFabric, Switch is about to receive a game from the ZX Spectrum computer. Nintendo’s website lists Saboteur! for November 9.

Earlier this year, tinyBuild announced that it would be bringing Party Hard to Switch. The eShop has now updated with a listing showing a release date. Look for Party Hard on Switch starting November 22.

We have the following overview and trailer for the game:

Those who purchase Steins;Gate Elite will be entitled to the bonus 8-bit ADV Steins;Gate game. The special 8-bit graphics and chiptune version was developed by series creator Chiyomaru Shikura. Watch a new trailer for 8-bit ADV Steins;Gate below.

The opening video shows characters from the roster getting hit with a beam, losing their bodies, and transforming into spirits. Some sort of powerful being is behind it all, but most of the details won’t be known until launch. However, we do at least have one small tidbit.

Over on the official Smash Bros. Ultimate website, Nintendo reveals the name of the main antagonist. We know that some folks can be a bit sensitive to spoilers, so we’ll put that information after the break.

Bad North

Bad North has received a new update on Switch. Raw Fury and Plausible Concept are now distributing version 1.04.

With the new patch, the focus was “performance updates which should be especially noticeable on Switch.” The developer also “improved loading times, fixed a number of bugs and updated the application icons to make the game look a bit snazzier on your console home screen.”

Civilization VI

Civilization VI will feature up to four-player multiplayer on Switch over local wireless. It will not, however, include online support. The functionality was included in the PC version, but will be missing on Switch for an unspecified reason.

Eurogamer reached out to 2K, and the company confirmed that Civilization VI will not be included on Switch. It also seems that there are no plans to add it in later.

A new Pokemon distribution has started for the month of November. This month, players will be able to obtain Ho-Oh and Lugia.

Those in the United States will be able to obtain either of the two exclusively at GameStop up until November 25. Canadian players can visit EB Games for Ho-Oh and Lugia. Finally, those in the UK will find them at GAME.
