InnerSpace

PolyKnight Games, with publisher Aspyr, has released a big content update for the Switch title InnerSpace. The developer has acted on feedback while also adding new airframes for new playstyles, customizations, and more.

Here’s the full rundown of the update from PolyKnight:

Okami HD Limited Edition

Capcom has much more expansive plans for the Switch edition of Okami HD in Japan. Even though the game will only be receiving a digital release in the west (unless a different decision is made within the next few months), Japan will have access to a physical version.

That includes a limited edition featuring a soundtrack CD with 22 pieces of music. Pre-orders are now open on Play-Asia here.

We also want to again stress that the Japanese version of Okami HD is not confirmed to include English. However, based on precedent, we do believe it’s likely. Capcom should confirm which languages are included closer to release, so stay tuned.

Japan’s tournament-style Splatfest in Splatoon 2 has come to an end. The event has finished, and Nintendo has posted the results.

In the first round, Hello Kitty defeated Cinnamoroll. My Melody then took down Pompompurin. For the finals, the winners of both rounds battled it out.

Afterparty

At the end of last year, Oxenfree developer Night School Studio announced its next game Afterparty. The company confirmed today during an IGN E3 stream that it’s coming to Switch.

Afterparty is an adventure games about Milo and Lola, two recently deceased best friends who find themselves facing an eternity in Hell. But with a loophole, those who can outdrink Satan can return to Earth.

Ubisoft appears to be planning a couple of Hasbro games for Switch. In Taiwan, Risk and Trivial Pursuit have been rated for the console.

Both titles have come out on a variety of other platforms, so a release on Switch would make sense. Still, an official announcement has not been made.
