Original (3/24): Earlier tonight, the 2018 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards were hosted. Super Mario Odyssey was advertised heavily with its own segment in the form of a real life speedrun.
To promote Super Mario Odyssey, New Donk City was brought to life. Two teams competed as they collected Power Moons.

ARMS Global Testpunch can now be downloaded from the North American eShop

This past weekend, the ARMS Global Testpunch demo made available on the European eShop. Folks in North America can now download the demo as well.
Remember: ARMS Global Testpunch doesn’t actually go live until this weekend. You’ll be able to play at the following times:
– 9 PM PT (March 30) – 8:59 PM PT (April 2)
– 12 AM ET (March 31) – 11:59 PM ET (April 2)

GameStop restocks the SNES Classic Edition again

GameStop has been known for its weekly restocks of the Super NES Classic Edition. That’s continuing once again today, with the system available here. While other retailers haven’t restocked the SNES Classic Edition, GameStop has had units available almost weekly at this point.
Arcade game Dragon Blaze expected on Switch next week

Zerodiv has confirmed its next arcade game for Switch, which is dropping very soon. Dragon Blaze is expected on Switch next week. It should be out in Japan on April 5, with a western release happening soon as well (if not on the same day).
Dragon Blaze, developed by Psikyo, first landed in arcades back in 2000. It’s another shoot ’em up in which players can ride a dragon that also doubles as a weapon.

Niantic has shared the details regarding the next Pokemon GO Community Day. This one features Mareep with a currently unspecified exclusive mode. Bonuses for the event include 1/4 Egg hatch distance and 3-hour Lures.
The next Pokemon GO Community Day will take place on April 15.

PlataGO! Super Platform Game Maker in development for Switch

PQube and Super Icon are working to bring PlataGO! Super Platform Game Maker to Switch. The platform game creation is due out later this year.
PlataGO! has a drag-and-drop interface that lets you make your own levels in just minutes. Levels can also be linked together to create full platform games. And by sharing your levels and games online, other players can try out what you’ve created.

Natsume and Rising Star Games have pulled back the curtain on the features of Harvest Moon: Light of Hope Special Edition on Switch.
First, Soleil will act as a new character in the game. Soleil is a Gem Sprite whose origin is shrouded in mystery and is unfamiliar with the world outside of the dark caverns.
