Pokemon Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon getting an official guide

When Pokemon Ultra Sun and Pokemon Ultra Moon launch in November, the games will be accompanied by an official guide.
The official product description is as follows:

Dragon Quest X version 4 announced for November release in Japan

At the Dragon Quest Summer Festival 2017 today, Square Enix pulled back the curtain on the next expansion for Dragon Quest X, known as “The 500-Year Voyage to a Far-away Hometown.” It’s launching on November 16 for 3,800 yen.

18 minutes of off-screen Xenoblade Chronicles 2 footage

Nintendo had its own Treehouse Live type of setup at Japan Expo last month, and one of the games featured was Xenoblade Chronicles 2. While it was the same area shown at E3, not all battles played out similarly. Check out the full video below.

Chrono Trigger director Takashi Tokita shares his code for I Am Setsuna’s Temporal Battle Arena

A little while back, Square Enix prepared a new update for I Am Setsuna on Switch that added the Temporal Battle Arena. Players can upload their battle data here for others to download and battle.
Chrono Trigger director Takashi Tokita, who also worked on classics such as Final Fantasy IV and Final Fantasy VII, shared a short message this week and offered up his own user code for the Temporal Battle Arena. Pokemon Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon news may arrive on tonight’s Pokenchi, possible new Lycanroc form

Pokemon Ultra Sun and Pokemon Ultra Moon were announced two months ago. While we haven’t seen much of either game, that could be changing very soon.
On tonight’s episode of the Japanese show Pokenchi, Pokemon Sun/Moon director Shigeru Ohmori will be making an appearance. He’ll apparently be talking about the latest Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon information and will deliver a “shock announcement” regarding the anime.
Meanwhile, the next issue of CoroCoro could be leaking very shortly. Speculation has pointed to a possible new Lycanroc form. Although not confirmed, the cover has an image of what looks like Lycanroc with a different color scheme and a few aesthetic changes.

Next wave of NeoGeo games confirmed for Switch

This week, one of Hamster’s regular live streams was held featuring the ACA NeoGeo series. Per usual, the company revealed what lies ahead on Switch in terms of NeoGeo titles.
Magician Lord, Puzzled, Zed Blade, Raguy, Spinmaster, and Art of Fighting are all on the way. There’s no set timetable for each, but these are the ones you should expect in the near future.

Team17’s Gamescom 2017 lineup

With Gamescom 2017 just around the corner, companies are beginning to confirm their plans for the big expo. That includes Team17, who announced its lineup of games this week.
Attendees will be able to go hands-on with a number of titles. These include Genesis: Alpha One, Sword Legacy: Omen, Yoku’s Island Express, and The Escapists 2. The latter two are in development for Switch.

Splatoon 2 – Japanese Splatfest #1 results

The first actual Splatfest for Splatoon 2 has drawn to a close in Japan. It was a close race all around, but ultimately, Team Mayonnaise came out on top.
Mayonnaise edged out ketchup in terms of both popularity and solo battles respectively at 56 percent and 51 percent respectively. However, ketchup did have one slight victory in team battles at 51 percent.
The final tally was two points for Team Mayonnaise and one point for Team Ketchup.
We’ll have to see how the other Splatfests play out this weekend.
