Consumers are lining up in Japan just for a chance to get a Switch
Posted on 7 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch | 76 Comments
Switch demand continues to outpace supply across the world. This is particularly evident in Japan, where consumers are having to participate in lotteries just for a chance to obtain a system of their own.
The Bic Camera below had just 37 units in stock. 10 gray systems were available along with 27 for the neon version. This is one area that handled the distribution of Switch stock via lottery.

Ready at Dawn has “a lot of interest” in Switch
Posted on 7 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch | 31 Comments
Ready At Dawn has “a lot of interest” in Switch. Creative director Ru Weerasuriya spoke about the new system during an interview with GamesIndustry, telling the site:
“Every time a platform comes out, we always feel like there’s something really cool that can be done with it – a huge graphical advance, a huge technological advance, a new way of interacting in games like VR does. Switch, I think, is the same kind of thing. We see it and we see the market that they’re trying to really kind of grab, expand, and also build. I would definitely tell you that, yeah, internally at the studio there’s a lot of interest for the Switch.”
We last heard Ready At Dawn comment on Switch last June when it was known as NX. The company seemed to be open to putting Deformers on the platform, but wasn’t in possession of a dev kit. Hopefully we’ll see something from Ready at Dawn on Switch in the future.

GameStop says Redout is releasing for Switch on July 25
Posted on 7 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch | 2 Comments
Nicalis hasn’t said when Redout will be available on Switch. But going off of GameStop, it could be out within a couple of months. In its weekly ad, the retailer claims that the title is set to launch on July 25.
GameStop isn’t just going out on a limb here. What’s encouraging is that Amazon and Best Buy both have July 25 listed on their websites as well. And with GameStop coming out in its ad with a July 25 release date, hopefully Redout will in fact be out on Switch next month.
Nintendo Everything is a participant in the Amazon, Best Buy, and GameStop affiliate programs. The website may receive a partial commission through orders placed with these retailers.

At Wonder Festival earlier this year, several Nintendo-related figures were announced and showcased. Among these was a new Nendoroid of Lillie from Pokemon Sun/Moon.
At the time, we only had a general image of what the figure would look like. Now, however, we have an actual photo. Our first look at the Lillie Nendoroid is pictured above. It arrives in November.

After several months of silence, Fire Emblem Warriors resurfaced this week. The news cycle started out with Famitsu with plenty of new details and an interview with the developers.
That interview has now been translated. It featured producer Yosuke Hayashi from Koei Tecmo, Nintendo’s Genki Yokota (Fire Emblem director since Awakening), and Masahiro Higuchi from Intelligent Systems. We’re now able to see their direct comments on the game’s origins, talk about the appearing characters, and more.
