Nintendo’s Russian store leaks Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Switch bundle

The first official Switch bundle has been outed by Nintendo’s own official store in Russia.
Consumers will be able to choose between two options: one with gray Joy-Con and another with the neon colors (note that these pages may be inaccessible unless you’re located in Russia or use a proxy). Both come with a physical copy as opposed to a pre-installed version.
Nintendo may be announcing this Mario Kart 8 Deluxe bundle during its Nintendo Direct tonight. It’s unclear if North America will be receiving the package at this time.

Yo-kai Watch 3’s big version 3.0 update drops this Friday in Japan

The previously-announced update for Yo-kai Watch 3 was said to be on track for this spring. Today, Level-5 announced that it’s launching very soon – this Friday in fact. Yo-kai Watch 3 will be updated to version 3.0.
The upcoming patch adds in a bunch of additional content. Players will have access to new Enma, quests, and yo-kai, along with new Dungeon and Guardians for the Busters Treasure Mode. Other features include fishing at the port town Nagisaki. All of the update details are located here.

Neo Geo’s Fatal Fury heading to Switch next week

The European eShop has updated with a listing for yet another Neo Geo game. Next Thursday, Hamster will be bringing out Fatal Fury as its latest Arcade Archives release.
Here’s an overview from the eShop listing:
“Fatal Fury is a fighting game released by SNK in 1991. Players take part in brutal street fights in a variety of locations, with the goal of toppling the infamous crime lord Geese Howard.
The game includes very unique features when compared to other fighting games available at the time, including a special Line Battle system that allows players to traverse between the foreground and background and 2-player co-op functionality.”
Yesterday, the European eShop listed Over Top for Switch. That Neo Geo title should be out on April 27.

Pokemon Duel update out now (version 3.0.6)

Update: Serebii now reports that the balance updates for Venusaur, Drapion, Bulbasaur, and Weezing are included. Eleven new figures were added to the Boosters as well.
More details:
– The three EX figures are Virizion, Sceptile, and Trevenant
– Rare figures are Grovyle, Lilligant & Crobat
– The UC figures are Skorupi, Swellow, Chikorita, Phantump & Petilil
– Four new Plates, focusing on Grass, Flying, Bug & Ghost-type Pokemon
– Orange Time Booster added that may appear through League Matches until April 26; guaranteed to hold Grass-type or Poison-type Pokemon
– A Sextuple Booster that gives 6 figures with at least one guaranteed EX until April 19 for 300 Gems is available
Original: Pokemon Duel’s latest update is here. There may not be much to it, but version 3.0.6 can now be downloaded. The update notes merely state that bugs have been fixed.
While that may not be terribly exciting, Pokemon GO should be receiving a balance patch very, very soon. You can read about all of the details here.

Japan getting first Fire Emblem Echoes DLC next week, more to come

Much like recent Fire Emblem games, Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia will have DLC. Nintendo revealed what’s in store for the newest 3DS game today.
Fire Emblem Echoes’ first DLC is planned for April 20 in Japan. First, players can receive a one-time reward of the “Boots” item for free. Other than that, paid DLC is as follows:
Fire Emblem Heroes adding four new characters, new Paralogue on Friday

Nintendo has released a trailer showing new characters that are on the way to Fire Emblem Heroes. On April 14, the game will be adding Alm, Clair, Lukas, and Faye. A new Paralogue, “World of Shadows” will be available on the same day.

Miitomo – new Miitomo Drop stage (4/11/17)

Miitomo has been updated with new content. Players can nab the latest items in the Miitomo Drop stage, “Folklore in the forest! Fairy Fashion #2”.
Available items include:
– Butterfly fairy top (set)
– Butterfly fairy shorts (set)
– Butterfly fairy boots (set)
– Butterfly fairy wings (set)
Users can select Miitomo Drop stages from the Shop tab. Miitomo coins or game tickets are needed to play.

River City Ransom SP updated to version 1.1, adds two-player co-op

Last year’s River City Ransom game in Japan, River City Ransom SP, was given a major update today. The new version 1.1 update has added two-player co-op and more.
Below are the patch notes, courtesy of Gematsu:
- A local two-player co-op mode has been added.
- A feature that allows you to check the events that occur on the lower screen map with icons has been added.
- A feature that displays cleared events from the event encyclopedia in the memo menu has been added.
- A feature that allows you to collectively sell equipment at the second-hand shop has been added.
- A feature that allows you to collectively purchase items has been added.
- Bug fixes.
