SEGA 3D Fukkoku Archives 3: Final Stage has launched in Japan. Like almost every 3DS game, there’s now a relevant Miiverse community for the release.
Siliconera came across something interesting with the new forum. You’ll notice that once you load up the page, it actually shows as SEGA 3D Classics Collection 2.
SEGA 3D Classics Collection made it to North America earlier this year, and Europe last month. This doesn’t confirm localization of the new package, but it does give us some hope.
Toby: The Secret Mine releasing on Wii U in early 2017

Headup Games has announced plans to bring Toby: The Secret Mine to Wii U, a puzzle-platformer inspired by Limbo and Badland. Players can expect various puzzles, dangerous and challenging traps and enemies, and “beautifully handcrafted environments.
Here’s a rundown of the game’s premise:
“A peaceful way of life in a small village in the mountains was thrown into disorder. Someone has kidnapped most of it’s residents. A couple of brave hearts tried to rescue their friends but none of them has returned. Little Toby didn’t want to just sit and wait so he decided to find them by himself. He went to the near deep forest but he soon realized this is just a beginning of a big adventure.
Go with Toby on an eerie adventure in a dark and creepy world full of dangerous situations, enemies and challenging puzzles.”
Toby: The Secret Mine will be on the eShop early next year, “some weeks before Nintendo Switch will launch.” We’ve posted a trailer from the original release below.

When the DS was initially introduced during E3 2004, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime walked out on stage with hardware that looked different from the final design. The big differences between the initial model and the one at launch are the shoulder buttons.
Now we have a better look at the DS prototype thanks to Evan Amos, who unearthed a few photos from Nintendo’s FCC filing. We’ve rounded them up below. Since this was only a filing, it doesn’t look quite as “nice” as the model shown at E3 all those years ago.
