Pankapu: The Dreamkeeper making its way to Wii U

Pankapu: The Dreamkeeper reached its funding target on Kickstarter towards the very end of last year. The campaign included a Wii U stretch goal, but fell just shy of reaching it. However, Too Kind Studio has now confirmed its upcoming game for Nintendo’s console after combined Kickstarter and PayPal donations exceeded €55,000. We’ll be seeing it next year on Wii U unless something changes and it’s brought to NX instead (or both systems).
For those who haven’t heard of Pankapu: The Dreamkeeper previously, it’s a 2D action-platformer. You can get a better feel for the project in the video below.

NIS America no longer publishing Atlus games in Europe as relationship terminates
Posted on 8 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in General Nintendo, News | 12 Comments
MCV has received word from NIS America that the company will no longer be handling the release of Atlus’ titles across Europe. Additionally, going forward, Atlus won’t be distributing any NIS games in America.
NIS America MD Takuro Yamashita said in a statement:
“Around ten days ago, we terminated our alliance with Atlus in Europe and the US. Atlus became very picky about selecting the European publishing partner after it was bought by Sega. It always cherry picked its EU publishing partner based on who offered the highest minimum guarantee on a title by title basis. I noticed that it was very difficult for NIS America to establish an equal-partnership with Atlus. Atlus and its European games have contributed a lot to the expansion of NIS America in Europe. I would like to express my greatest appreciation to them for that.”
NIS America has handled several of Atlus’ titles in Europe. The lineup includes the Etrian Odyssey 3DS titles, Persona Q, nad more.

Posted on 8 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS | 0 comments
Mario and Peach costumes had previously been shown for Story of Seasons: Good Friends of Three Villages. We pretty much knew that equivalents for Luigi and Toad would be in the game, but now we have our first look at both.
Luigi’s costume allows for better fishing results. With Toad’s costume, the player can gradually recover health.
