Aperion Cyberstorm’s control options detailed, including golf grip setup
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U eShop | 0 comments
Aperion Cyberstorm is going to support a whole bunch of controllers. The Wii Balance Board might be the only exception, which I don’t believe players will be displeased about!
Speaking with Nintendo Life, developer aPriori Digital went over the different control options included in Aperion Cyberstorm. One of these is simply using the Wii Remote for “something like a golf grip.”
Here’s the full explanation from aPriori:
Regarding controllers, we’ve tried to support every official option as far as possible — sorry, no balance board…
As we said last year, the game will support a Wii Remote without an attached Nunchuk. We figured there are a lot lying around or cheap to buy, so getting five players together should be simpler than other options. When we got down to it, we realised the logistics of mapping a twin stick shooter to that device.

Nintendo wins Supreme Court case against flashcart sellers in Japan
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in General Nintendo, News | 12 Comments
In 2009, Nintendo as well as 49 other game companies filed a lawsuit against flashcart importers. The case has been appealed several times since then. Nintendo shared another update about the situation today, and it’s certainly good news.
Nintendo said in an announcement that the Supreme Court denied further appeals on the case on January 12. That means the import and sale of flashcarts in Japan will remain illegal. On top of that, the defendants will need to pay nearly 9.6 million yen (roughly $815,000 / €748,000) in damages.
Dragon Ball: Project Fusion – a couple more tidbits, manga in Saikyō Jump magazine

Thanks to a leak from V Jump, we found out yesterday that Bandai Namco is developing Dragon Ball: Project Fusion for 3DS. Anime News Network reports that the title “will have unlimited possibilities”. A line in the magazine also states: “The emergency plan starts now. You will create your own Fusion Warrior!”
A manga adaptation based on Dragon Ball: Project Fusion is debuting in Shueisha’s Saiky? Jump magazine this year. Fans can also participate in a contest where they send in character designs that combine two Dragon Ball characters as if they had performed fusion. The winner will appear in the game.
Famitsu sheds light on Zelda: Twilight Princess HD’s amiibo features

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD appears to be in this week’s Famitsu once again. While last week’s article was only a recap of the game as a whole, the latest issue touches on some new features. Leaks stemming from Famitsu talk about amiibo functionality.
Using the Wolf Link amiibo at a certain place will allow you to play “Thorough Battle: Trial of the Beast” (perhaps this is the Twilight Cave we heard about last week). If you clear this while owning the “Giant Wallet”, you’ll earn the “Bottomless Wallet”. This lets you hold up to 9,999 Rupees, compared to Giant Wallet’s maximum of 1,000. The leak also mentions something about how Link’s health inside normal dungeons can be recovered by the amount of hearts you preserved in the exclusive dungeon (which I assume is this one).
