If it wasn’t already clear from this week’s Smash Bros. Wii U presentation, the game is filled to the brim with music. It has many more tracks compared to the 3DS version as well as Smash’s last console entry, Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

A screencap taken from the Super Smash Bros. for Wii U “50-Fact Extravaganza” presentation reveals that the title will feature over 400 pieces of music. We know that there are at least 437 tracks – a significant amount for sure!

A Japanese gamer who has experience in repairing iPhones recently decided to disassemble the New 3DS. You can view a few photos above.

Since there are metal cases on the main circuit, the main memory can’t be seen. Therefore rumors about the memory can’t be confirmed at this time. One thing that can be seen, however, is “SAMSUNG KLM4G1YEQC-B301”. That’s the same model number as chips used in smartphones. It’s more than possible then that 4GB eMMC NAND flash memory is included. To compare, the original 3DS features Toshiba’s 2GB NAND memory.

Activision is one of the few third-party companies that hasn’t really supported the eShop in the past. For whatever reason, the publisher’s retail releases haven’t been made digitally for the most part.

Perhaps that will be changing soon though. Listings have been discovered on the eShop for games like The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (3DS) and Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark (Wii U). Maybe Activision is finally looking into bringing some of its older games to the eShop?
