Vblank toyed around with the idea of Retro City Rampage for DS

Retro City Rampage was once considered for the DS. Developer Vblank Entertainment shared a couple of Vine clips, which show a prototype that was made several years ago.

Retro City Rampage did eventually make its way to a Nintendo handheld. The game launched for 3DS earlier this year.

Ittle Dew passes certification in Europe

Ittle Dew’s European release is just on the horizon. Creator Joel Nyström, writing on Twitter, mentioned that the game has now passed through certification. That means a release date will be shared in the near future.
Nyström said:
Good news everyone, Ittle Dew is through certification in the EU eShop! When I have press codes in my hand, I'll announce a release date.

Ittle Dew is already available on the North American Wii U eShop. It launched in May.

Pikmin shorts trailer, will soon be on 3DS (plus lots of other tidbits)

Earlier today, the animated Pikmin shorts were finally shown at the International Tokyo Film Festival. While they haven’t been made available for everyone else to see just yet, we do have a trailer – that can be found below.
Shigeru Miyamoto and Dwango chairman Nobuo Kawakami also held a press conference of sorts later on. Plenty of information was revealed – the shorts will be coming to 3DS, a Pikmin 3 demo is in the works, and lots more. Head past the break for all of the juicy details!
