Popup Dungeon adds Wii U stretch goal on Kickstarter
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U eShop | 0 comments
Popup Dungeon could make its way to Wii U. If the title’s Kickstarter collects $100,000 in donations, Popup Dungeon will be guaranteed for the console.
An update on the game’s Kickstarter page reads:
Again, thanks to your feedback, we’ve altered our development priorities and begun the process of becoming official Wii U developers.
We own a Wii U ourselves and would love to bring Popup Dungeon to the system. Obviously, the prospect of having the Dungeon Master play on the controller’s screen while the adventurers play on the main monitor/television is tantalizing!
We’ll do our best to make this happen, but for the time being, it must remain a stretch goal.
You can check out Popup Dungeon on Kickstarter here.
Thanks to Brandon for the tip.

Along with today’s screenshot, Sakurai passed along the following message on Miiverse:
For the first time in the Smash series, Beam Swords will feature graduated colors. The attack item on the left is the Fire Bar. This is a peculiar weapon that becomes shorter after each swing.
