Ubisoft will not release any Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag DLC on Wii U, the publisher has confirmed.

A season pass was revealed for the game yesterday, but Wii U wasn’t included in the announcement. That was hardly a shocker. However, it’s definitely surprising to see Wii U missing out on all Assassin’s Creed IV DLC given how Assassin’s Creed III was properly supported last year.

Bravely Default: For the Sequel will offer a… unique DLC item.

Leaks out of this week’s Famitsu indicate that players can perform a “Bravely Second” attack with SP. While SP can apparently be restored in sleep mode, players will also have the option to purchase the “SP Drink” DLC (and maybe restore the gauge more quickly?).

Square Enix, seemingly responding to gamers upset by the news, pointed out on the Bravely Default Twitter account that the SP Drink is mainly intended for those who don’t have a ton of time to play the game. Another tweet mentioned that it’s supposed to be a fun little item, and players won’t be forced to make a purchase.

Nintendo has just launched a brand new online store for the UK. You can check it out for yourself here.

Unlike Nintendo’s North American store, there seems to be quite a bit that can be purchased on the UK equivalent. Consumers can buy consoles and games, pre-order titles, and purchase other related products.

Toys “R” Us has listed two new Wii U Packs for France. Cherry, launching on November 27, is priced at €299.99. There’s also the Mango Pack, releasing on December 4 for €249.99.

The price discrepancy could mean that the Cherry pack will come with a game. Super Mario 3D World, maybe?
