Nintendo announced today that those who pick up the physical version will receive “an exclusive Yo-kai Medal from Hasbro that gives Jibanyan a powerful new in-game Soultimate Move when scanned into the game.” On the other hand, going digital provides “players the opportunity to battle and befriend new Yo-kai: Sailornyan or Robonyan F.”

Yo-kai Watch 2 will be sold in Bony Spirits and Fleshy Spirits versions. The Yo-kai and Medals differ based on the version of the game purchased.

After coming to Japan and Europe last year, Style Savvy: Fashion Forward will be available in North America on August 19. Nintendo has announced that a demo will be published on the eShop two weeks prior – August 4.

Those who download the Style Savvy: Fashion Forward demo can participate in the game’s first Miiverse contest themed “Black and White”. This “asks fashion designers in the making to submit their best look based on the contest theme for bragging rights.”

Nintendo says additional Style Savvy: Fashion Forward contests will be held on Miiverse after launch. Specific details will be shared in the future.

A brand new trailer for Pokemon Sun/Moon has come online. In addition to live-action segments, various gameplay is sprinkled throughout.

Here’s the video:

Today’s trailer shows a few things. We get brief looks at Kiteruguma and Mimikkyu, riding Pokemon, Pokémon Amie, and more. Expect to hear more soon.

Update: Now up on Amazon Canada as well.

Amazon is offering an exclusive “Steelbook Dual Pack” for Pokemon Sun/Moon. It’s priced at $89.99, though Prime members can nab it for $71.99. Orders are now up here.

The Pokemon Sun/ Moon Steelbook Dual Pack naturally contains both games. You’ll also receive a collectible Steelbook case with a purchase.

Here are a few photos:

Something similar was announced for Europe last month. Nintendo will be making “Pokemon Sun/Moon – Fan Editions” available which also contain copies of the game and a Steelbook. However, they’re individual items as opposed to a bundle.

7th Dragon III Code: VFD is now available in North America. You can pick up a copy from retail (and snag a neat art book in the process), or you can download it from the eShop. The latter option requires 12,747 blocks of free space, which amounts to 1593.375MB.

We reviewed 7th Dragon III Code: VFD last week. If you missed it, head on over here to read it in full.

In the United States, Nintendo lowered the price of the 2DS to $80 a couple of months ago. Now Canada is getting a price drop as well.

On July 15, the 2DS will be sold for $109.99. That’s down from the previous asking price of $129.99. Aside from the lower price, most systems also come with either Mario Kart 7 or Yo-kai Watch pre-installed.
