Update (3/22): Amazon’s lineup has indeed slowly started to update, and now includes games like Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville, Crash Bandicoot 4, Astral Chain, and more. Check out the sale page here.

Original (3/21): Usually when Target hosts a buy 2, get 1 free sale, Amazon follows suit. That has again taken place with both retailers. After Target begin its sale earlier today, Amazon just now started offering a similar deal.

The lineup of items is slowly being updated, but it includes games, movies, music, and a bunch of other categories. We recommend keeping an eye on the Amazon sale page here – which currently has over 1,000 items across all products – in the days ahead.

Target’s buy 2, get 1 free deal lasts through March 27. The same likely applies to Amazon as well.

If you happen to stop by Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Japan, you may come across a little Easter egg from Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto. The theme park’s Mario Kart ride has a huge painting of Bowser, and Miyamoto himself signed the piece.

Tom Geraghty, senior director of technology and innovation for Universal Creative, shared the backstory of how the autograph happened during a recent press event. As relayed by GameSpot:

Sony has announced that it has acquired Evo, “the world’s largest and longest-running fighting game tournament.” Despite the event now becoming a part of PlayStation, there may not be a whole lot of changes.

Hot Wheels has had a few Nintendo collaborations in the past, and that partnership is continuing with a new Mario Kart product. As revealed by an Amazon listing, Hot Wheels Mario Kart Rainbow Road Raceway will launch in May.

The Amazon page actually doesn’t have much in terms of actual information. However, based on official photos, you’ll be able to race with Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, and King Boo down the Rainbow Road-inspired track. Lakitu is also hanging out at the front of the course.

After more than a decade, Nintendo’s official support forums appear to be shutting down.

Certain posters, who Nintendo has recognized as “top members”, are allegedly receiving an early notice about the closure via email. It mentions that an announcement will be made “in the coming days”. These members are also entitled to a free download code for a game from Nintendo thanks to their prior assistance and dedication.

Below are a couple of excerpts from the email:

Dark Horse announced a partnership with Nintendo a few years ago to produce a graphic novel series for ARMS. An introductory version was then released as part of Free Comic Book Day 2018. Dark Horse said last year that the series was still happening, but there hasn’t been any news since.

As many fans have speculated, it does indeed appear that the ARMS graphic novel series has been cancelled. The news comes from writer Ian Flynn, who was responsible for the preview that was made available for Free Comic Book Day. Flynn’s website specifically states that the original plans were scrapped.

Dark Horse hasn’t shared an official statement, but we have no reason to think that the ARMS graphic novel series is moving forward at this time. You can at least check out the introductory version from Free Comic Book Day, which is located here.
