My Nintendo adds new physical rewards based on Pikmin 3 Deluxe, Mario Kart Live in North America

My Nintendo has updated in North America with a trio of physical rewards. Two are for Pikmin 3 Deluxe and a third is for Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit.

Halloween is just around the corner, and Nintendo has created some special art to celebrate the occasion. We have a new piece featuring Mario above.

My Nintendo adds printable Mario Kart Racer ID card insert and more in North America

Tying in with the launch of Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit, My Nintendo has added a new reward. Members can now obtain the Mario Kart Racer ID card insert. The best part? It doesn’t cost any points whatsoever.
There are other new rewards on My Nintendo, including a Nintendo NY coupon for a free character key chain or pin with a purchase of $50 or more at the store.

Listings on Play-Asia have revealed a new round of Dr. Mario World plushies from Sanei. Aside from Dr. Mario himself, there will be a bundled set for the red, yellow, and blue viruses.

Former Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe wasn’t initially on board with appearing as Mario during 2016 Rio Olympics closing ceremony

Former Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe had a very memorable moment during the 2016 Rio Olympics. At the closing ceremony, he actually appeared from a large green Warp Pipe and was seen with a red Mario hat.
Believe it or not, Abe wasn’t actually on board with the idea initially. He mentioned to Nikkan Sports that he “wondered if it were okay for the Prime Minister to take on the appearance of Mario”.
