Nintendo’s involvement with last night’s Mario-centric Dancing with the Stars performance is much more involved than originally thought. Via Twitter, the company confirmed that Koji Kondo created the Super Mario Bros. medley just for the show. You can download the song right here.

Well, how about this! On today’s episode of Dancing with the Stars, one of the couples went all out with a complete Super Mario Bros. performance – down to the music and props on stage!

Thanks to Cameron for the tip.

Atlus made not one, but two Etrian Odyssey announcements during its live-stream event today.

The first was Etrian Odyssey and Mystery Dungeon. The second was Etrian Odyssey V.

No details about Etrian Odyssey V were shared. We’ll need to wait for further information!

A fire at the warehouse used by Nintendo UK’s customer repair partner has affected a number of gamers.

Last week, offices at Repair Tech – the company Nintendo UK partners with for customer repairs – were hit by a serious fire. MCV obtained a statement from Nintendo, which reads:

“We can confirm that on Tuesday 18th November, a fire broke out in the warehouse owned by RepairTech, the company that Nintendo UK uses to fulfil its customer repairs. Nintendo UK only used the warehouse for UK based product repairs and storing of associated repairs equipment, it did not contain stock that would at any point be sent to a retailer for sale to the public. We are pleased to confirm that no one was hurt.”

Those who sent in hardware or software for repair are being told that free replacements will be issued. Additionally, some complementary free eShop credit will be provided.

Atlus has gone ahead and opened two new teaser sites designated by the letters “X” and “D”. They can be found here and here.

What’s interesting about the two sites is how they are very much the same. Both feature a giant tree similar to the teaser site for Etrian Odyssey Untold II from earlier this year. The two pages are titled “Nobody knows the X” and “Nobody knows the D”. Meanwhile, the official Etrian Odyssey Twitter account also posted recently: “We believe that everyone is curious about X and D’s sites just about now. Please take a peek at them every now and then.”

This all sounds related to Etrian Odyssey. Perhaps we’ll hear something during Atlus’ live-stream on Niconico later today?

Nintendo previously confirmed that the second wave of amiibo are releasing in December. However, the company still has not provided a final date.

That’s where Amazon and Walmart come in. Both retailers are listing December 14 release dates for the second round of amiibo like Luigi and Zelda.

Plus, there’s also this tweet from Walmart:

I’d say December 14 is looking likely at the moment!

Thanks to Kevin for the tip.
