Nintendo is showing off some of the new Zelda: Breath of the Wild amiibo at a European press event today. Because of that, we have new in-person shots of the Zelda and Bokoblin figures. Get a closer look below.

North American My Nintendo members now have access to three new Zelda discounts. All of them are tied to Gold Points and take 30 percent off the original price.

On 3DS, the discounts for Zelda: Oracle of Seasons / Ages can be had for 20 Gold Points each. Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D requires 100 Gold Points.

In February of last year, CoroCoro published a special Splatoon manga chapter for free online to celebrate the release of the regular Splatoon manga that started running in Bessatsu CoroCoro Comic around that time. Now, a year later, a second chapter of the manga is available for free online. You can read it here – in Japanese, naturally.

Shortly after its release last year, people started tinkering with the NES Classic to see what else it could be besides play the 30 pre-installed games.    Last month, intrepid hackers managed to get additional 30 NES games to run on the machine. Now, some hackers managed to take it quite a bit farther.

As the video below shows, the NES Classic is apparently capable of running Nintendo 64 games. The actual performance varies greatly from game to game, but it’s a pretty impressive feat nonetheless.

We last heard about Kotobukiya’s Serena with Fennekin figure in July from WonderCon. It’s now set for a July release, and pre-orders have opened.

You can reserve the figure at Play-Asia here or AmiAmi here. Play-Asia has a reservation deadline of March 31.

Kotobukiya’s new figure is 1/8 scale and is a part of the Pokemon Figure Series. A closer look is in the video below.

Original: The Zelda 30th anniversary album officially came out in Japan this week. If you’re not interested in the likes of Play-Asia, you’ll be happy to hear that Amazon is now taking “pre-orders”.

The very first Professor Layton game debuted in Japan back on February 15, 2007. That’s right: the series is now ten years old.

In celebration of the milestone, Professor Layton now has its own Twitter account. You can keep track of any updates that may surface here.

Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino had some fun with Professor Layton earlier today. It looks like he held a special event in Japan to promote the anniversary – here are a couple of photos:


Professor Layton won’t have a new title this year, but the series as a whole will. Level-5 will be publishing Lady Layton on 3DS sometime in 2017.

Dark Horse and Barnes & Noble bookstores are teaming up to celebrate the release of The Legend of Zelda: Art and Artifacts. Next week, select stores in the United States will offer a quest. According to Dark Horse, “fans will be given a map of various locations throughout their store, where they must answer a trivia question at each stop. Those who are successful in their quest will be rewarded with an event exclusive Triforce enamel pin and photo opportunity.”
