A second episode of Nintendo Minute for the week has gone live. In today’s video, Shigeru Miyamoto and Eiji Aonuma stop by to share their top five favorite things about The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. View the full episode below.

The new amiibo based on Zelda: Breath of the Wild are now available to pre-order on GameStop. On top of that, standalone Wolf Link is up as well. They’re all located here.

A new episode of The Play Nintendo Show is here to kick off 2017. Watch the full video below.

The Poochy amiibo is starting to make the rounds having been released in Japan. For a close look at it, watch the unboxing video below.

In November, the NES Classic Edition sold 196,000 units in the United States. The hardware had another strong month in December. According to the NPD, NES Classic Edition sales rose by 14 percent. That puts it at just over 223,000 units sold.

Sales should tail off this month if only due to a lack of availability. Hopefully Nintendo manages to get more stock out in the near future.

Update: These have now sold out (thanks Jason).

Original: Over on the official Nintendo UK store, pre-orders are open for the new Zelda: Breath of the Wild amiibo. The two Link versions, Zelda, Guardian, and Bokoblin are in stock. Find them all here.

Update: As HeroOfTime125 points out to us, the filing starts with AACK. AA is used for Smash Bros., so it could be a further hint at a Corrin amiibo.

Original: Last week, three unknown CPSIA certificates popped up in Nintendo’s database. Those may have had something to do with the new Zelda: Breath of the Wild amiibo announced shortly thereafter (Zelda, Bokoblin).

Now another mystery certificate appeared on Nintendo’s website today. With the Fire Emblem Direct happening in a few hours, could this be related to a Fire Emblem amiibo?

Update: Very quick update for you. Nintendo’s Japanese Twitter page says the Fire Emblem mobile game will be revealed.

Original: A Fire Emblem Direct was announced last week as part of the Treehouse Live stream. The presentation has now been officially confirmed, with Nintendo stating that multiple titles will be featured.

You can expect the Fire Emblem Direct to begin at the following times:

– 2 PM PT
– 5 PM ET

The Treehouse Live stream indicated that Fire Emblem Warriors would at least be featured. Another possibility is the inclusion of the Fire Emblem mobile game.
