Sonic Origins devs on how the title came to be

Two of the primary developers behind Sonic Origins have briefly discussed how the release came together. Producer Nobuya Ohashi, along with director Katsuyuki Shigihara, chatted with Japanese magazine Famitsu in a recent interview.
With Ohashi, he started out by explaining that SEGA had renewed interest in focusing on the Sonic IP, but things picked up even further after the popularity of the first Sonic the Hedgehog movie. He said:

Monster Hunter Rise director on touch controls, tech performance

Touch controls were a staple of many handheld Monster Hunter entries, which left many fans wondering why the control options weren’t quite as expansive in Monster Hunter Rise. In a recent interview with Nintendo Dream, Monster Hunter Rise director Yasunori Ichinose explained that as the Switch is a hybrid console, control choices largely stemmed from the fact the team had to develop with both handheld and docked play in mind.

A new 1.1.1 update was recently released for HunterX.
A number of improvements are included such as the ability to switch the difficulty. There are a few adjustments as well, including boss hitboxes.

Heroes of Hyrule revealed as another Zelda spin-off pitch from Retro Studios

Did You Know Gaming? has secured information about another Zelda spin-off that Metroid Prime developer Retro Studios pitched to Nintendo, which was known as Heroes of Hyrule.
The game would have a story involving three heroes that lived 100 years in the past: a Goron, a Rito, and a Zora. The trio actually went on a mission to save Link. Link himself was actually captured while trying to rescue Princess Zelda from Ganon. That’s where the three heroes come in. Eventually 100 years pass, and Link becomes an old man that owns an antiquities shop.

Vesper: Zero Light Edition getting a physical release on Switch

Strictly Limited Games has revealed plans for a physical release of Vesper: Zero Light Edition on Switch.
Two versions are in the works. There’ll be a standard edition as usual, along with a “Special Limited Edition”. With the latter, fans will receive the game on a cartridge with an exclusive and limited cover sheet, special box, manual, companion book titled “The Age of Zero Light” that shows background art and details the backstory of Zero Light through every log found in the game, original soundtrack, five magnetic buttons, a double-sided poster featuring main visuals of the game, and a fluorescent character window sticker featuring art of the main character Seven in front of a backdrop of the game’s artwork.

Rumor: It Takes Two bound for Switch

It Takes Two, one of the most acclaimed games of 2021, is rumored to making the jump to Switch.
A couple of people have come forward suggesting that a port will soon be announced. Giant Bomb’s Jeff Grubb, who already made the news this week after claiming that a Nintendo Direct will happen this month with Zelda news, says that It Takes Two will be shown off during the upcoming presentation.
