NIS America December 2021 Switch eShop sale

NIS America is the latest publisher to be putting on a December 2021 Switch eShop sale for the holidays, with various games such as Disgaea, The Alliance Alive HD Remastered, and Ys VIII included. There are some big discounts to be had here.

The full lineup is as follows:

Justice Chronicles

Publisher Kemco and developer Hit-Point have announced that they’ll soon be putting Justice Chronicles on Switch. The RPG is slated for a January 6, 2022 release.

Here’s an official overview with further details:

Dragon Ball Z Kakarot Card Warriors

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot + A New Power Awakens Set made it to Switch a few months ago, but it was missing a notable feature in the form of Card Warriors. This had previously landed on other platforms in 2020 and was intended to be made available on Nintendo’s console as part of a free update this fall. Unfortunately, that’s no longer happening.

Bandai Namco confirmed not too long ago that Card Warriors has been delayed on Switch “due to an adjustment of the development schedule.” A new release window was not provided.

The full statement reads:

Mail Mole Lost Presents

Another update has just come to the 3D platformer Mail Mole, with players now being able to play through The Lost Presents on Switch. The new winter challenge DLC is entirely free to download.

Here’s some additional information from developer Undercoders:

During a live stream earlier this week, Famitsu showed off gameplay of the latest Arcade Archives games on Switch, Mirai Ninja and Orius. Note that Orius is titled Xexex in Europe.

Below is some additional information about both titles:

Listings on the eShops provide file sizes for a bunch of Switch games. These include Death end re;Quest 2, Duel Princess, and more.

More:

XSEED has discounted its slate of Switch games as part of a new December 2021 eShop sale. No More Heroes 1 and 2, Corpse Party, Rune Factory 4 Special, and Story of Seasons are among the included titles.

The full lineup is as follows:

Among Us

After achieving breakout success, Among Us was able to end up on Switch just before the end of 2020. What you may not know is how quickly the port came together.

During the BIG Festival earlier this year, Robot Teddy’s Gwen Foster offered some insight into how the Switch version of Among Us came to be. Innersloth developed the game originally, but Robot Teddy was brought in around September 2020 to assist the studio in a number of different areas. That included finding the right partners for console development.

2022 is almost here, so let’s take a moment to reflect on the coming year – especially concerning Nintendo.

We’re actually in a much different place this time around compared to the start of 2021. We really didn’t have a good idea as to what Nintendo was planning for the year in terms of Switch releases. A few games were known entities, but a lot hadn’t been revealed until the year started moving along.
